Power metal

There are three bands calling themselves The Beards - one from Adelaide, Australia, another from Norway, and the third a U.S. sideproject of several female musicians. 1) Beard based band from Adelaide Australia The Beards play "Bearded Music for Bearded People" and are the only band in the world playing solely beard based music. They have been officially invited to play the opening ceremony of the 2009 World Beard and Moustache Championships in Alaska.

I Am I was formed late in the summer of 2008 by Drummer Matt Tubbs and Guitarist/Vocalist Keith Eggleston. In October they were joined by additional Guitarist/Vocalist Kelley Wockenfuss. In November they were joined by Bassist Micah Kines. After assembling an arsenal of songs the group began playing shows in the Spring of 2009. In August they recorded their 5 song demo.

There are (at least) ten artists with the name Icarus.
(1) Sam Britton and Ollie Bown have been making electronic music for the past five years, releasing music on various independent labels and achieving recognition for their distinct sound and complex compositional technique. in recent years, the band has tended towards the more experimental end of electronic music, with a particular interest in the relationship between composers, computers and performance.

1. overlord is an indie pop band from Brooklyn, NY. Overlord is on an indie label, Storm Tower Records, and has released 5 full-length records and 2 EPs. The band consists of: Tris McCall, Matt Houser, Sarah Brockett, and George Pasles.
