1) (Danish Metal band) Mercenary is a four-piece metal band from Denmark that combines both power metal and melodic death metal genres, and in their earlier work thrash metal. The band was formed in 1991, they have released a total of five albums. Mercenary was formed in Aalborg, Denmark, in 1991. After the release of two demos, they were able to sign with Black Day Records, and released a four-song EP, Supremacy (1996).
There are many bands with the name Anguish. These include: 1. A Swedish doom metal band influenced by Candlemass. Joe Lynn Turner (JLT), born Joseph Linquito August 2, 1951 in Hackensack, New Jersey, is a melodic hard rock singer best known for his work with Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen and his brief stint in Deep Purple. He played the accordion as a child, grew up with an appreciation for classic R&B and became an accomplished guitarist in his early teens. He was ranked 84th in Hit Parader's "Heavy Metal's All-Time 100 Vocalists". Early Career to Present
Jeff Loomis was the lead guitarist for the ground breaking metal band Nevermore. A player of many influences and styles, Loomis is often seen as one of the world's most talented and gifted metal guitarists. In 2008, he released a solo album entitled 'Zero Order Phase' (Century Media), featuring special guest appearances by fellow guitarists Ron Jarzombek and Pat O'Brien, legendary jazz bassist Michael Manring, and OFZ producer Neil Kernon.
There are several bands with name Sinner: 1) Sinner are a German heavy metal band formed in 1980 by vocalist and bassist Mat Sinner (Goddess Shiva, Primal Fear). Their most recent album, 'Mask Of Sanity' was released in January of 2007. Based in Baden-Württemberg, Sinner released their first album, Wild'N'Evil' in 1982. This album, along with the next two ('Fast Decision' and 'Danger Zone') were raw affairs, having little in common with the melodic metal they would later become known for.
