Formed from the ashes of East Midlands Power-Thrash band In The Ravens Name and Melodic Death band Scramasax, Death Knell count Venom, Helloween, Gravedigger, Iced Earth, Sabaton and Judas Priest as their principle influences. Thunderstone

Formed in early 2000 by ex-speed/thrash Antidote guitarist Nino Laurenne as a project, his first demo was recorded at his personally owned Sonic Pump Studios. With a growing awareness of the project's potential, a commitment was made to create a full-fledged band. Laurenne then recruited former Antidote bandmate Titus Hjelm on bass and backing vocals, Pasi Rantanen on vocals and Mirka Rantanen on drums.

Spiral Tower

The band was formed in 1997. Their name comes from the Psychotic Waltz song off their first album (1990 - A Social Grace). The founding members come from Tragedy Divine, a progressive/power metal band which split up due to musical differences (other former members play in Sacred Steel, a more traditional power/heavy metal band).
Spiral Tower plays Germanic power/speed metal with progressive influences (which are normal as they are influenced by Psychotic Waltz, though they are far less progressive).

There is more than one artist with this name: 1. The Rapper: Cage Kennylz (born Christian Palko), commonly known as Cage, is an underground rapper based in New York City, United States. Cage's life has gone from watching his father shoot heroin, to addiction and violence and mental institutions to cutting an album for Columbia Records and being a rising star in the heyday of the NYC independent rap scene, to the final culmination and personal triumph that his most current release Hell's Winter has become.

Emperor

Emperor is an influential Norwegian band that represents a synth laden, progressive yet brutally aggressive and chaotic part of the genre, something quite different from the minimalism of other originators of the Norwegian sound (e.g. Darkthrone). The band was formed around the core members Samoth (Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen) and Ihsahn (Vegard Sverre Tveitan) of the band Thou Shalt Suffer and bass player Mortiis (Håvard Ellefsen) in Notodden, Norway, 1992.

BLACKENED seemed to have come out of nowhere, but the truth is that every member of the band has been involved in the independent music community for the last decade and a half. The all-star lineup boasts current and former members of the juggernaut that is HATEBREED (Bassist Chris Beattie and original drummer and founding member Dave Russo) as well as current Connecticut contenders and alum alike, including vocalist Jay Reason (THE DISTANCE) and guitarist Chris Legg (FASTBREAK).

Seven Witches

Seven Witches is an American heavy metal band from New Jersey. The band was founded in 1998 by Jack Frost and Bobby Lucas Seven Witches released a Demo-CD in 1998 which gave them a record deal with Massacre Records. The first two CDs Second War In Heaven and City Of Lost Souls featured vocalist Bobby L. Bobby Lucas was the one who named the band and wrote the lyrics with Jack Frost, Bobby Lucas left the band in 2000 and was replaced with Wade Black who left Crimson Glory for Seven Witches.

Redemption

There are five artists with the name Redemption: 1) Redemption is at the forefront of the US progressive metal scene. Founded by guitarist / songwriter Nick Van Dyk, Redemption features legendary vocalist Ray Alder of Fates Warning, guitarist Bernie Versailles of Agent Steel, bassist Sean Andrews and drummer Chris Quirartewho is also in the progressive metal band Prymary. After releasing their eponymously titled debut release in 2003 on Sensory Records (a release which featured guest appearances from Mark Zonder of Fates Warning and Jason Rullo and Michael Romeo from Symphony X)...

Kamelot

While the Kamelot from Tampa is the most prominent band of this name, there are more bands using it in the world: 1) Kamelot is a power metal band from Tampa, Florida that incorporates progressive and symphonic elements into their music. The band was founded by guitarist Thomas Youngblood and drummer Richard Warner in 1991. In 1994 the band signed a deal with Noise Records; the release of their debut album Eternity followed in 1995. The next album, Dominion, was released in 1997.
