Orrin Evans

Orrin Evans (born 1976) is an American jazz pianist.
Evans was born in Trenton, New Jersey and raised in Philadelphia. He attended Rutgers University, and following this studied with Kenny Barron. He worked as a sideman for Bobby Watson, Ralph Peterson, Duane Eubanks, and Lenora Zenzalai-Helm, and released his debut as a leader in 1994. He signed with Criss Cross Jazz in 1997, recording prolifically with the label. He was awarded a 2010 Pew Fellowships in the Arts.

Ashley Paul

Multi-Instrumentalist/Composer Ashley Paul uses a unique mixture of saxophone, clarinet, voice, prepared strings and bells to create a dream-like mash of minimalist, psycho-accoustic experiments, floating melodies, metallic clatter and screeching bit-reed tones. She combines these disparate elements to create introverted songs, and intuitive forms. Performing solo, Ashley brings to the stage her own eclectic set-up, forging a dense sound closer to a small band than just one person, often playing multiple instruments simultaneously to accompany sparse melodies from her voice and saxophone.

Greg Kelley

Greg Kelley has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Japan and Argentina at numerous festivals, in clubs, outdoors, in living rooms, in a bank, and at least once on a vibrating floor. He has collaborated with a number of musicians throughout the globe performing experimental music, free jazz and noise, releasing a number of recordings in the process - both solo, and as nmperign (with bhob rainey) and Heathen Shame (with Kate Village and Wayne Rogers). There are at least two artists called Keith Rowe. One is an improviser, playing guitar and assorted toys since the 1960s as a solo artist as well as with AMM and MIMEO. The other is a reggae artist best known for his work with Lee "Scratch" Perry in the 1970s.

Burkhard Beins

Burkhard Beins is a Berlin-based percussionist primarily active in electro-acoustic improvisation (EAI). He has a long-standing duo group with tabletop guitarist Keith Rowe (previously of AMM), and is a member of Polwechsel (with Werner Dafeldecker, Michael Moser, John Butcher and Martin Brandlmayr), The Sealed Knot (with Rhodri Davies and Mark Wastell, Perlonex (with Ignaz Schick and Jörg Maria Zeger), Trio Sowari (with Phil Durrant and Bertrand Denzler), activity center (with Michael Renkel) and Phosphor (with a whole bunch of people).
