Psychic Ills
Psychic Ills is a group that became active in NYC sometime during 2003. Their sound has included a combination of rock experimentation, drones, electronic textures, and various ethnic influences. Their live shows have varied widely and have been known to have an improvised performance art element as well. The current line up consists of Elizabeth Hart, Brian Tamborello, and Tres Warren. Their 2nd album "Mirror Eye", is set to be released on January 20th of 2009 on The Social Registry label.

Selda
Selda (Selda Ba?can, born 1948 in Mu?la, Turkey) is a Turkish wonder, heroine of the anatolian invasion; a powerful voice and charged lyrics gave her the moniker of "the Joan Baez of Turkey". She's a protest-singer and an activist, and belongs to the Alevi religious and cultural minority. check the b-music/finders keepers reissue of her self titled 70s album for a mind blowing explosion of psychedelic radical folk pop. selda is a revalatory and groovy in new ways experience for your earhole.
Deep Magic

light of the great fire is hidden within.' Deep Magic is the solo project of Alex Gray, who currently plays in tropical-psych jam team Sun Araw and has also contributed to works by Pocahaunted and Black Eagle Child.
Shhh
Kingdom Phylum is a five piece pop outfit currently based out of Chicago. Since a culmination of several other midwest projects, Kingdom Phylum formed in the fall of 2005 and promptly set about recording their first full length effort. The resulting LP, "Leviathan" was released independently in April 2006 under the moniker "Shhh". The album sound, as described by Lawrence.com, "packs oodles of glockenspiel-tinted catchiness and sunny optimism whilst chumming the oceans of spacey guitar effects and vintage drum machines.
The Smoke
There are several bands with this name. The UK group The Smoke consisted of Mick Rowley on vocals, Mal Luker on guitar, Zeke Lund on bass and Geoff Gill on drums. They released a handful of singles from 1967 - 1970, with their biggest hit 'My Friend Jack' reaching no. 2 in Germany and no. 45 in the UK. See The Smoke (UK). However the singles 'Sweet Spanish' and 'Defeat Retreat' are by the Australian band The Smoke, taken from the 2009 album 'Blood Orange'. See: The Smoke (Oz)

1. Former Olympia, Washington-based artist creating ambient/noise-style aural architecture. Acre is currently based out of Portland, Oregon. 2. Acre is a deep dubstep/electronica producer from Manchester, UK, signed to Embassy Recordings
Nick Nicely
Nick Nicely - real name Nick Laurien - is a studio-based musician from London, UK (though born in Greenland), mainly active during the early 80s. Although often described as psychedelic, his music is not retro and has little in common with paisley revivalist bands. Nick's first single in 1980 was the classic D.C.T. Dreams - a trippy but catchy electro-pop single which received a lot of airplay, but did not chart in the UK although it reached number 32 in Holland. A follow-up - the more overtly psychedelic Hilly Fields (1892)- came out in January 1982, but was less successful.
Shake
Three artists: 1) Spanish soft rock psychedelic band. Alberto Montero (guitar and vovals), Victor Hernandez (Bass), Jorge Castillo (Drums) y Carlos Cuesta (Guitar) recorded the first and only record at the moment, "Let me wear the morning Sun", in 2005. The band it's now recording the second album in studio. 2) Two-piece garage/shoegazer act based in Boston, MA. Shannon Barker (drums/baritone guitar) and Mike Hiltz (guitar/vox) combine elements of garage rock, shoegazer, and noise pop. Debuting with 2004's "Instant Record" EP, they're now working on a second full-length album.
