There seems to be more than one Dogs of War band, this is the Bio from Australias Metal version: Formed in 2003, hailing from Perth’s northern suburbs, Dogs of War have carved an indelible niche in the Perth music scene. Fiercely independent from word go, their unique blend of polyrhythmic metal and confronting stage presence, continues to crush and confuse peers and admirers alike. Tim Sweeney is DJ of legendary BeatsInSpace show on New York's WNYU radio station. Tim holds a residency at APT and is in demand all over NYC due to his unique style, bringing together all sorts of things from old school hip hop to techno classics with ample quantities of disco, a lot of rarities, re-edits and remixes including a selection of all the coolest new tunes around as well. He's also scored internships with legendary Steinski and DFA (where he has paying production duties). Tim is also a regular DJ with DFA on their tours and playing out all over the world in his own right.
