DEATH WOLF signed with Century Media Records during November 2011 and is currently completing and rehearsing material for their 2nd album which is set to be recorded during spring, followed by a release later this year.
Black Metal from Norway (Karmøy, Rogaland) formed in 2003. "Spew forth from a dimension of pitch-black darkness in 2002 anno Sathanas, unholy Norwegian black metal cult Throne Of Katarsis, consisting of Vardalv and Infamroth, has been building up the dark energy it represents ever since, by molding this energy into cold, atmospheric, Satanic compositions of sonic primitivity and epic occultism. Iskald represents ice cold and crystal clear black metal from the land of the midnight sun. Iskald shines like aurora borealis on the northern black metal hemisphere. Hailing from Sortland in the northern part of Norway, Iskald have crafted out what will most likely stand out as a future classic within the genre. Fueled by the devotion to Norse mythology and the inspiration of arctic surroundings, founding members Simon Larsen and Aage Krekling, started up their black metal project, Iskald in early 2005.

1) A Black Metal band from Norway 1994: Ragnarok was formed by Jontho and Jerv after they left their previous band called Thoth. Thyme and Rym soon joined the band which gave the following lineup: Jontho – drums, Jerv - bass, Rym - guitar and Thyme - vocals.
At the end of the year Ragnarok recorded a demo called 'Pagan Land'.
The demo was recorded in a small studio called Haga Audio located in Sarpsborg. As the studio had no experience with black metal, the sound came out to be very bad and the response was not so good.

Two black metal Bands, a thrash metal band, a hardcore punk Band and an electronica musician with this Nickname: #1) Mayhem is a black metal band from Oslo, Norway which was originally formed in 1983, taking strong influence especially from Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Venom and from earlier Bathory. The name "Mayhem" was taken from the title of the Venom song "Mayhem with Mercy".
There are a few artists with this name. 1) In Vain is a progressive death metal band from Kristiansand, Norway. Formed by three young music enthusiasts back in 2003, the band has already released two highly critically acclaimed self financed EP’s; Will the Sun Ever Rise and Wounds. Will the Sun Ever Rise(2004), a three-track EP of unrelenting atmosphere, aggression and complexity. The EP was embraced by metal heads and journalists alike.
Immortal is a prominent black metal band from Bergen, Norway. The group began in 1989 as "Amputation", a death metal band. Immortal's early full-length releases were of a traditional, yet complex black metal style, but their acclaimed album At the Heart of Winter saw the band begin to experiment with a fusion of black metal and German thrash. The resulting sound was a style which characterized Immortal's later works. Immortal has been influential to many modern metal artists. Immortal's founders; Abbath and Demonaz, have attained a legendary status in the Scandinavian heavy metal scene.
Satyricon is a Norwegian black metal band founded in Oslo, Norway in 1990. Satyr has said “the music is rock based but more extreme; it is black metal pushing the boundaries that began with bands like Venom and Bathory, reinventing ourselves based on a foundation of rock oriented black metal is our philosophy.” Satyricon credit their 1993 first album, Dark Medieval Times, with starting a sub-genre of black metal termed medieval metal. The album displayed their fascination with the Middle Ages, blending extreme metal with acoustic guitar and flute.
Emperor is an influential Norwegian black metal band that represents a synth laden, progressive yet brutally aggressive and chaotic part of the genre, something quite different from the minimalism of other originators of the Norwegian black metal sound (e.g. Darkthrone). The band was formed around the core members Samoth (Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen) and Ihsahn (Vegard Sverre Tveitan) of the death metal band Thou Shalt Suffer and bass player Mortiis (Håvard Ellefsen) in Notodden, Norway, 1992.
