Scarlet Blonde

scarlet/blonde The founder members, Dawn Firth and Ditch, met at age 4 and were always destined to work together. A class photo from back then has the words “Dawn’s boyfriend” inscribed by Dawns father beneath Ditch’s picture- so the chemistry was clearly obvious from day one. In the intervening years, Dawn became a guitar virtuoso by learning every note from every Iron Maiden song alone in her room and picking up String and Guitar Endorsements on the way through her unbelievable, unique, self-taught technique.

Maxim

There are at least two artists called Maxim: 1) Keith Palmer (born 21 March 1967), best known as Maxim or Maxim Reality, is an MC of the British electronica/rave band The Prodigy. He is known for his fierce style of appearance in both music videos and live shows, often wearing scary contact lenses and kilts. His fierce style is also vibrant in the lyrical sense; in live shows he is known to scream and shout to hype up the audience.

ahu

This young Turkish singer, full name Ahu Kelesoglu, has already built up quite a reputation for her collaborations with Flying Lotus, Mr Beatnick and others – it was she, under the name Dolly, who contributed the sublime, dusky vocal to Flying Lotus’s ‘Robertaflack’. Increasingly focussing on solo work inspired by house, techno, the golden age of jazz singers, European movie soundtracks and much else besides, we reckon Ahu’s really going to be one to watch in the months and years that lie ahead.

Desert Dwellers

Bringing the electronic bass music vibe to the yoga scene, and the sounds of yoga to the electronic dance scene, Desert Dwellers’ global sounds are the bridge between worlds. Joining solid groove with sounds of serenity, their signature aesthetic feels as natural on the dance floor as it does after hours or on the mat.  Due in no small part to Desert Dwellers’ pioneering spirit, the very concept of chill-out and sacred bass music has expanded dramatically.
