Sister Sin were formed in 2002 in Gothenburg, Sweden. They are a female fronted four piece with a style reminiscent of Guns 'N Roses, L.A Guns and Hanoi Rocks. Sister Sin released various recordings via smaller indie labels. Neneh Cherry & The Thing is a collaboration between Neneh Cherry from Sweden and a group named The Thing, starting around 2010. They released an album The Cherry Thing in June 2012.
Birdflesh started in October 1992 as a four piece band. One of the guitarplayers had to leave the band because it sounded like shit with two guitars. First demo was recorded in 1994 and the second was out in 1995. Did some shows in the hometown, rehearsed some, drank some beer and recorded the third demo, "Fishfucked", in 1997. The following years were pretty much the same. Did some shows, released some records and drank many beers. In September 1999 Birdflesh went on a Japan tour.
Nina Persson (born Nina Elisabet Persson September 6, 1974 in Örebro, Sweden) is the lead singer and lyricist for the Swedish pop group The Cardigans. Originally, she was going to art school until she started with the The Cardigans. She has also worked as a solo artist, releasing two albums as A Camp and appearing on the tribute album to Serge Gainsbourg entitled Monsieur Gainsbourg Revisited. She has also worked with rock group Sparklehorse. She appears on the Manic Street Preachers song "Your Love Alone Is Not Enough" on the album "Send Away the Tigers".
After having four singles on the Swedish radiostation P3's playlists (”Spela mig på radion”, ”Förlorad generation” and ”1000-0 till idioterna” "Visst är det vackert”) Zacke released his debutalbum "Visst är det vackert". The album, that was produced by Mördar-Anders from Movits! was praised by critics and listeners. Scandinavia's largest hip-hop magazine Kingsize wrote that the album was "one of the better ones that have been released in a long time". Even other critics were impressed by Zacke's original style and praised him.
