Missy Higgins

Missy Higgins (born Melissa Morrison Higgins on August 19, 1983, in Melbourne, Australia) is one of Australia's most popular female singer-songwriters. Missy (Melissa) was thrust into the limelight in her homeland when her sister entered Missy into a competition, which she won. The competition was conducted by the national alternative broadcaster, Triple J. Although she was still in high school, her song All For Believing quickly became one of the station's most requested tracks of 2001.

Helix

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Helix is a heavy metal band that formed in 1974 for a Battle of the Bands contest in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and is best known for their 1984 single "Rock You". The original lineup consisted of singer Brian Vollmer, guitarists Brent Doerner and Paul Hackman, bassist Keith Zurbrigg and drummer Brian Doerner. In 1992, Hackman died when the group's van rolled down a 40-foot enbankment after a concert in Vancouver.

The Limousines are an Electropop band based in the Bay Area, California. The band consists of songwriter and vocalist Eric Victorino, and multi-instrumentalist and producer Giovanni Giusti. The band has had comparisons drawn with MGMT. Victorino, who had previously performed with rock band Strata, stated that he was "tired of band politics" and "needed another outlet, one that wasn't quite as dark and heavy". Giusti and Victorino started the Limousines after communicating online and exchanged lyrics, music and recorded vocals online.

After months and months of work including 6 live shows, Connie Fisher,23, was crowned the winner of controversial reality TV show "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Mariao?" over runners-up Helena Blackman and Siobhan Dillon. She played the role of Maria Von-Trapp in the Sound Of Music along-side "Peak Practice" star Simon Shephard playing Captain Von-Trapp and opera singer Lesley Garrett (as the Mother Abyss) from November 2006 until February 2008. Her original contract lasted six months, but was extended.
