Lanterns

There's at least 2 bands with the name Lanterns: free music @ lanterns.bandcamp.com 1) LANTERNS. formed in San Diego,CA in the early days of 2006, working under the premise that there was no premise, exercising the art of tuneful, yet extremely noisy pop songs. San Diego’s Lanterns might have a luminescent name, but they have yet to enjoy the spotlight. Despite high-profile gigs with bands like Matt and Kim, …And You Will Knows By the Trail of Dead, and These Arms Are Snakes, the four-piece has operated mostly under the local radar.

Very Truly Yours

One day a girl found a message in a bottle. The message was from a person she'd never met in a place she'd never been. Every day, the girl would read the message and every night she would write a song. She would imagine all the things the person would do, the things they would see and the sounds they would hear. This went on for some time until one day the little girl took all of the songs and put them in a bottle.

tim lee

Tim Lee’s musical journey can be traced back to the early 1980s when he and Bobby Sutliff captured the attention of critics with the formation of the Windbreakers. Tim furnished the Windbreakers with the edgy songwriting, Petty-like vocals, and gritty guitar work that made them the envy of numerous bands on the independent music scene. The band released six records over their20-year history, and most recently released the retrospective Time Machine: 1982-2002(Paisley Pop Records).

M.O.T.O.

MOTO stands for Masters Of The Obvious. Pretty much it's Paul and whoever is playing with him at the time. Some people think Paul's lyrics are too dirty but most people think they are funny. MOTO write songs that are catchy. That's all that really matters. It all got started in the early 80's in New Orleans. But then Paul moved somewhere else. MOTO have released dozens of albums, some cassette only, some CDs, some are little vinyl discs like this one. You've probably never heard of MOTO. It's a good thing that now you know.
