(A) The Mode was a 60's pop group from the Thundersley area of Essex. They recorded a four track privately-pressed EP in 1967, which is now extremely rare. In May 1967, they were spotted by a Decca talent scout and invited to Decca's London studio to record two tracks - "Eastern Music" and "In This World Of Mine" - which the label subsequently decided not to release, although "Eastern Music" later appeared on one of the 'Rubble' LP:s. When Decca lost interest the band split soon after.

There are at least three with that name, the first was a power metal band from LA, California the second being a (fucking sick) Beatdown Hardcore band from Preston City in the north west of England , and the third one being an alias of DJ Ruthless, a jump-style DJ from the Netherlands. 1) Ruthless. Sam Carter is a twenty-five year old singer-songwriter and outstanding fingerstyle guitarist from the English Midlands, now based in London. He has studied guitar with Martin Simpson and has already supported artists including Rachel Unthank & The Winterset, Davey Graham, Spiers & Boden, Findlay Brown and John Smith. In summer 2007 he took part in a collaborative project with Nitin Sawhney which culminated in a performance at the Royal Festival Hall and as a result has been appointed Emerging Artist in Residence at the Southbank Centre.

Frenzal Rhomb is an Australian punk rock band that formed in 1992, in Sydney, Australia. A long-standing institution in Sydney music scene but with a national and international base of fans, Frenzal have consistently nurtured new generations of young fans through endless touring, festival appearances and all ages shows.
