Aqua

Aqua is a danish-norwegian dance-pop group, best known for their 1997 breakthrough single Barbie Girl. Initially forming as Joyspeed in 1989, the band was renamed Aqua in 1994 and achieved huge success across the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with their first three singles. The group released two albums: Aquarium in 1997 and Aquarius in 2000, before splitting up in July 2001. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most successful Danish band ever and the second most successful Norwegian band.

SWIM are Joe Boyle and Richard Williams. Since a chance meeting in their adolescent years, the duo have been making music together. Surrounded by records of over 60 years of popular music, and trying to make the grey London skies feel like warmer climes an ocean away, the band are influenced by the synths and styles of their 80s heroes, from the likes of Talking Heads and New Order to the lush shoegaze discord of My Bloody Valentine and Cocteau Twins. 2 Unlimited

2 Unlimited was a eurodance group from Amsterdam, Netherlands formed in 1991. The project was the brainchild of the Belgian production duo Jean-Paul De Coster and Phil Wilde, who wrote and recorded the backing tracks. Their songs' vocals were performed by Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard and singer Anita Doth, who also wrote the lyrics. The two original members now record as Ray & Anita. Their first hit, Get Ready For This, was released in 1991 and took the European charts by storm, first as an instrumental version, then as a rap version.

There are at least four artists named Erika. 1) Erika De Bonis is an Italian dance singer better known for her popular song I Don't Know. Erika's first releases were under the label of Rossano Prini A&R SPY records. The young Italian artist became famous when she released the song Relations. This track jumped to No. 1 on all Italian charts in the first half of 2001. Erika released some other tracks that became very popular in dance clubs: Right or Wrong and Ditto. Donna Summer

Donna Summer (born 31 December 1948, died 17 May 2012) was one of seven children raised by devout Christian parents. She sang in church, and in her teens joined a funk group called The Crow, so named because Donna was the only black member of the group. At eighteen, Gaines left home and school to audition for a role in the cast of the Broadway musical, Hair (1968). Unsuccessful in getting the part in the Broadway show (Melba Moore got the role)...

Jessie Malakouti

Jessie Malakouti began her career by joining the DIDC Hip Hop Dance Crew at age 12. She toured nationally with them, winning several awards including the 2003 Urban Jam National Scholarship. This opened the door for Malakouti to dance in music videos for major artists like Nick Cannon, and P!nk, and act in commercials for Verizon Wireless, and Powerade. In 2005 Malakouti formed the band 'Shut Up Stella' and signed a record deal with Epic Records, a division of Sony Music. Shut Up Stella recorded several songs, one of which ("Welcome to My Party") appeared in the 2008 film Baby Mama.
