Dementio13 is a Cardiff-based producer/remixer; recording solo since 1999. His music is a curious mix of Krautrock-influenced drones, experimental electro, film soundtracks, post-rock, drum n bass and psychedelia. Dementio13 often deletes his older releases which no longer 'fit' his musical vision; in his own words, "Music is temporary." His back-catalogue is always changing.
He has also been involved in collaborative projects with the international duo Cwtch, the music collective, Sal Boca and his other solo project Diebenkorn.
Seaworthy refers to at least two different groups/projects : 1. Seaworthy, a three-piece collectivefrom Sydney, Australia that primarily revolves around core member Cameron Webb as well as Sam Shinazzi and Greg Bird, was formed in early 2000 to explore melodic and experimental approaches to the construction (and unravelling) of minimalist soundscapes from looped guitar, warm drones, piano, electronics and field recordings.
There are multiple artists under this name: 1) U.K. were a short-lived British progressive rock supergroup active from 1977 through 1980. In September 1976, singer/bassist John Wetton formerly of the British Psychedelic band Family (with Roger Chapman and Rick Grech) and drummer Bill Bruford, both alumni of King Crimson, worked on forming a band with Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman. The project was stopped by Wakeman's label. According to Bruford, "A&M Records were unwilling to let their 'star,' Wakeman, walk off with a used, slightly soiled King Crimson rhythm section, and the idea failed."
Finding something like Bradford Bahamas reminds me of why I listen to the music. Fear not, I'm not tired and emotional at the end of yet another shit-box of a week, please, hear me out. It's not for the wry, dry, sly lyrics, it's not for the sweetest, most intricate of melodies, it's not for the next level of six-fingered-guitar-wankery. It's for the mentalism and the astonishment that something new can bring.
Maschine are a young English progressive rock band formed by Luke Machin at Brighton Institute of Modern Music in 2008 and are signed to the German progressive rock label Inside Out. Machin (who's surname the band is a version of) has worked and shared stages with, Francis Dunnery, Robert Plant, Bernie Marsden and Jeff Beck; plus he and bassist Daniel Mashal are both former members of The Tangent. Their debut album 'Rubidium' was released in July 2013. The band's current line-up is: Luke Machin - Vocals/Guitars
Following the success of Chloé’s The Waiting Room, the label Kill The DJ continues to redefine a certain idea of electro music with the long-awaited release of the first album by REMOTE, aka Seb Fouble & Eric Guillanton. 2000-2003: the post-French touch period, everybody is on the look out for something new, and that something new is somewhere out there on vinyl. Seb & Eric release their first maxi as Joe Zas & Co. on Pamplemousse. Then another, this a really important record, a witness to its time: Astroglide, considered as one of the best maxis in 2003 by the press and DJs alike.
Blank Realm is a rock band out of Brisbane. They “create a levitating atmosphere built on improvisations that focus sharp into excellent, tuneful songs (Brian Turner – WFMU)”. The band is composed of 3 siblings and a spiritual brother who share a love fine dining, and even finer selections from their well-stocked humidor.
unaesthetic is unaesthetic's dumping ground for various musical experiments and mucking around. expect dark, first-wave industrial-inspired sound collages, minimalist drones, abstract dark ambient pieces, and different kinds of rhythmic electronic music. also see Special Victim, unaesthetic's harsh black/death industrial project.
Two are multiple artists with this name: 1) Mushy is a solo experimental electronic project based in Rome, Italy. Among the head figures of the industrial music scene renewal, Valentina Fanigliulo uses the medium of musical expression in order to produce soundscapes which open the door to strangely nightmarish illuminations. The sound architecture is a mixture of loops, burgeoning analog drones, tempestuous noises, spectral chants which rise at the surface.
