The Seraph's Revolt

The Seraph's Revolt is a five-piece progressive metal band formed in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2009. The lineup consists of Sam Court, Matt Blades, David Towers, Duvall Onifade and Chris Burns. Loch Awe

Loch Awe is a folk band from Edinburgh comprised of Joy Everett (vocals & glockenspiel), Jack McKay Fletcher (ukulele, guitar & vocals), Matthew Liam Healy (ukulele, concertina, guitar & vocals) and Oliver Roditi (trumpet, drums & percussion). Formed at the very end of July 2010, they released their debut mini-album, 'Artificial Life from a Digital Sea', on August 30th. It can be downloaded for free from their Bandcamp page.

The Occasional Flickers

Edinburgh-based band 'The Occassional Flickers' are originally from Athens, Greece. Giorgos Bouras has been going under the Occasional Flickers guise for a couple of years now and the debut album 'Scattered Songs' has just been released on Peru's Plastilna Records which is the home to the likes of Annemarie and Amida amongst others. The current line-up features Giorgos Bouras, Bart Owl, Jamie Scott, Panayotis Baras, Ola Rek and Ailig Hunter.

The Vivians were made by long term friends and strangers; Damon, Chris, Kit, Scott & John who are now based in London. With their "gives a fuck" attitude The Vivians do nothing by halves. Stars of Sunday League

Stars of Sunday League is the constituent parts of Edinburgh born Euan Robinson. Liberated by a lack of real musicianship he writes simple uncluttered songs about how the biggest things are wrapped up in the smallest. He has been treading the musical boards around London since summer 07 and has found himself standing on stages at Bestival, End of the Road, New York’s Sidewalk cafe, sxsw among others. He also sings backing vocals in Emmy the Great's band.

Horndog Brass Band

Horndog Brass Band first growled into life at the debut Kelburn Garden Party festival near Largs the summer of 2009, drawn from members of Scotland’s left-field talent gathered there including representatives of Bombskare, Orkestra del Sol, Black Cat, The Banana Sessions and Hidden Orchestra. After stealing the main stage’s audience and taking them for an impromptu walkabout gig in the woods surrounding Kelburn Castle, it was clear that the Horndogs’ sound is one which connects instantly with fans of many genres, from funk and jazz through to hip hop and contemporary music.

Nick Keir

Nick Keir is an Edinburgh folk singer, and is well known on the folk scene - his music is well loved by people in the know. He is well worth looking into.
Nick began his career with the now-legendary Folk/Rock band "Finn mac Cuill" and worked with 7;84 Theatre Company befor joining The McCalmans. After Dec 2010 he'll be working solo, in a duo with Stephen Quigg and continuing his association with The Tolkien Ensemble, touring Europe with them in a huge Stage show, narrated by Christopher Lee
