The Wishing Tree
This is Steve Rothery's (Marillion) solo musical adventure recorded in '96 during a break in the action of Marillion. The Wishing Tree features Steve Rothery on guitar, Hannah Stobart on vocals, Paul Craddick on drums and Pete Trewavas (Marillion) on bass. Rothery met Hannah Stobart during the Brave tour after a gig in Bristol with some fellow musicians. Shortly afterwards she sent him a tape containing her versions of a song by All About Eve together with "Me And A Gun" by Tori Amos.
Lita Ford
Lita Ford (born Carmelita Rossanna Ford on September 19, 1958 in London, U.K.) is a hard rock singer and guitarist who achieved popularity during the 1980s. Ford was born in London but is of Italian heritage. She moved with her family to the United States while still very young. She began playing the guitar at age 11. In 1976 at the age of 17 she became one of the founding members of the legendary teenage all-female proto-punk-metal band The Runaways. There she played lead guitar.
Natalie Cole
Born February 6, 1950, Natalie Cole is the daughter of celebrated crooner Nat King Cole, she was exposed to the greats of jazz, soul and blues at an early age and began performing at the age of 11. Her debut album in 1975, Inseparable, won her immediate praise, with the smash single This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) (#1 R&B, #6 Pop) winning her a Grammy for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female, a category that had been monopolized by Aretha Franklin. She also was named the Grammys' Best New Artist of 1975. She attended the Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, MA.
Dia Frampton
Dia Frampton (born October 2, 1987) is an American singer-songwriter from St. George, Utah, US and the lead singer of the band Meg & Dia, and the runner-up on the first season of The Voice as a member of Blake Shelton's team. Dia Frampton is half Korean and half Dutch. Dia received a karaoke machine as a Christmas gift when she was a child and began singing at local county fairs and retirement centers, whilst her sister Meg taught herself to play songs on the guitar. In 2004 the pair formed a band Meg & Dia that have since released 4 full-length albums and several EPs.
Jenny Wilson
Swedish Jenny Wilson makes elegant and sophisticated pop music with hints of synthpop. Her self-produced solo debut, Love & Youth, on which she also plays every instrument, was released to much critical acclaim in 2005. Music journalists ranked it as one of the best Swedish albums of the year. As a teenager in the early 90s, Jenny Wilson - born in 1975 - originally wanted to become a writer. At that time she discovered PJ Harvey's Rid of Me, an album that inspired her so much that she decided to give up on her writing career and focus on music.
Die Laughing
UPDATE: Die Laughing reformed in 2012 to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. On the 8th May it was announced that Die Laughing would be touring with The March Violets on a selection of key UK dates in June 2012, before beginning work on a new album. More information:

History Die Laughing are mainly remembered for their input to the 90s Goth scene but their roots go much further back into the 1980s.
The Dresden Dolls
The Dresden Dolls are an American musical duo from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Formed in 2001, the group consists of Amanda Palmer (vocals, piano, ukulele, toy piano, harmonica) and Brian Viglione (drums, percussion, guitar, vocals). They describe their heavily art-damaged and theatrical style as "Brechtian punk cabaret", a phrase invented by Palmer because she was "terrified" that the press would invent a name that "would involve the word 'gothic'," and are part of an underground dark cabaret movement that started gaining momentum in the early 1990s.
Whalebone Polly
Whalebone Polly is the project of Kate Stables of This Is The Kit and Rachael Dadd of The Hand which started back in 2004 in Bristol, United Kingdom. They even got to play on the accoustic stage at Glastonbury in 2005. Also recorded their album Recording With The Window Open which is available through indie Angel's Egg Records, Japan. Recently, Whalebone Polly spent the month of October 2008 traversing Japan by train and played songs, live alive alives tour.
