Robin Gibb CBE (born Robin Hugh Gibb on Isle of Man, United Kingdom on 22 December 1949 – 20 May 2012) was a British singer and songwriter. He is best known as a member of the Bee Gees (1958-2003 & 2009-2012), co-founded with his twin brother Maurice Gibb (1949-2003) and older brother Barry Gibb. Their younger brother, Andy Gibb (1958-1988) was also, in his time, a popular solo singer. Born in the Isle of Man to English parents, the family later moved to Manchester before settling in Brisbane, Australia.
Starship is an American rock band that operated from 1985 to 1989, reforming in 1992. In 1984, Paul Kantner left Jefferson Starship (San Francisco, California, USA). His former bandmates wanted to continue as Jefferson Starship, but Kantner, as the last founding member of Jefferson Airplane, took legal action over the "Jefferson" name. Ed Motta is an mpb / mobo / jazz artist, born Eduardo Motta (17 Aug 1971), in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the end of the 80's Ed Motta burst upon the music scene as a major singer and one of Conexão Japeri's composers and producers. He was an instant success on the carioca show circuit and his 1988 debut album, "Conexão Japeri" (Warner), confirmed it.
