genedefect, a 4 piece metal band from western sydney, jumped into the metal scene in late 2005 with support shows all around sydney, recording and releasing thier first demo cd in 2005 gave them and understanding of where they were in the industry and were confident that they could make thier mark in the metal scene. through 2006 genedefect have been perfecting thier sound and performance which has brought them to this point in 2007 with a release of thier new demo in april and an EP by the end of the year...

SugarComa

1) Formed in 1999 when Jess "stole" Claire from former band Little Green Pants The first 3 songs ever written by SugarComa are 'Bed of Dolls', 'Boy in Chains' (now known as Zero Star) and 'Heartworm'. These went on to be Coma classics. After a couple of other songs were written, the band recorded an amateur-sounding demo tape in the St Edwards school studio. The bands first proper gig took place at The Walthamstow Standard, supporting a Metallica tribute act.

Handshake was the supergroup of the North Andover, MA music scene.
Take the primary songwriting force behind SDH, Ian Douglas (bass) and Mike Moschetto (drums/production), and transfer them to the rhythm section.
Now put the songwriters from Told In Photographs, Josh Bolduc (guitar/vocals/production) and Mike Wolfenden (vocals), at the forefront to handle the hooks.
Throw in guitarist Chris Phaneuf for good measure, and you have some of the strongest songs North Andover has ever seen, in the form of the limited-release Compliments EP.

One Minute Silence

One Minute Silence were a four-piece band based in Ireland that combined influences from metal, hardcore punk and rap (and, later, elements from stoner and progressive rock). The band consisted of vocalist Brian 'Yap' Barry, guitarist Massimo Fiocco, drummer Eddie Stratton and bassist Glen Diani, started in 1997. The band announced its split after eight years in a press release dated October 21, 2003. Yap went on to record two albums with his own project Pink Punk.
