Otep is a nu metal band formed in 2000 in Los Angeles, California by Otep Shamaya. The band originally formed as a four-piece nu metal band and were invited to play Ozzfest before they had even signed to a label after Sharon Osbourne witnessed a brief part of their live performance. They've since played Ozzfest several times. Segression is a heavy metal band from Wollongong, Australia. Originally known as Eezee and playing sleaze metal, the group decided to change its name after moving into in a thrash direction in mid-1994. As Eezee, the band had recorded an EP in 1993 and the 1995 album Rise From Darkness. The group had also played support shows with Morbid Angel, Machine Head and Deicide. The line-up at this time was Christiaan Rand (bass, vocals), Chris Sellin (guitar), James Broadbent (guitar) and John Buckley (drums).

Black Bomb A comes originally from France. They specialized their music style on metalcore and their first release was Straight in Vein in 1999. Before this EP came out, they had have a lot of guest features on various samplers. Human Bomb started in 2001 and was their first LP. Followed in 2004 a second album Speech of Freedom, then Illicite Stuff Live, a live recorded in Saint-Nazaire (with former-singer Djag as guest).
