Spider

There are at least seven artists which have used the name Spider: an indie folk singer from New York, United States, a metal band from England, a punk band from Hungary, a lo-fi band from Washington, United States, a ska/rock band from Malaysia, a power pop band from Wallasey, England, a rapper from Mexico. 1. Spider is an alias for Brooklyn musician Jane Herships. Most of the songs on her release The Way to Bitter Lake are hushed, personal songs with elements of shoegazing reminescent of musicians such as Nick Drake and M. Ward.

www.thenightishere.com the night was a solo project, focussed on incorporating and recording guest musicians. An EP was released in 2008 via iTunes and some sales and fans were recruited. A band finally formed in mid 2011, The members of the band brought their own influences and experience, and made the music evolve into what it is today. They recorded their first album independently in December 2011 at Jungle Studios.

Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams

Includes touches of everything from Floydian psychedelia to blues to Beatles-esque pop; inspired by The Who, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, and Pink Floyd. The band consists of Joziah Longo (lead vocals, guitars, harmonica); his wife, Tink Lloyd (accordion, cello, flute, theremin); Sharkey McEwen (guitars, mandolin, backing vocals); and Tony Zuzulo (drums). Increasingly they are accompianied at live shows by Josiah and Tink's sons Chen (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Orien (percussion, backing vocals, keyboards).

Tickled Pink are: Simon Care; Gerald Claridge; Guy Fletcher; Roy Kay; Trevor Landen; Mark Hutchinson and Mark Jolley. They formed in 1989 as the 'perfect antidote' to the traditional country-bands at the time. The band proceeded to play many festivals around the UK including Fairport's Cropredy Convention, Glastonbury and Cambridge. Primarily an English Ceilidh Band, their style combines traditional English music with rave, reggae, blues, country, rap, and much more!

ahab are a singer songwriter collective who formed in July 2009 after being invited to play the annual ‘Fanfare’ festival in Nashville, Tennessee. Following a successful week long residency tearing the roof off at Tootsies Orchid Lounge, they came back to Dalston and decided to make the collaboration permanent. After a year spent writing new material and layering the songs thick with harmonies ahab decided to hit the streets of London’s markets to put their name around.
