Will Kevans

Will Kevans is a UK-based singer-songwriter and master of the catchy pop tune and lyric. Just to Annoy Ray

Called 'just to annoy ray' they have a female singer and play a kind of folk/stadium/rock. they infuse unusual instruments such as the hammered dulcimer and mandolin with more traditional power rock tools (drums, bass, guitar) then throw in acoustics 12 & 6 string with a girl who has an awesome voice and an amazing ear for melody. Make of that what you will. The best way to get an idea is to listen for yourself, but please don't just listen to one track they have quite a varied sound, give them all a quick blast if you can.

Pollyanna

Pollyanna is the name of two musical artists : *Existing in the mid to late 90s, but still popular today, Pollyanna were an Australian indie/alternative rock band. The band consisted of, at various times, Matt Handley, Maryke Stapleton, Ace Moley, Andy Strachan, Shaun Lohoar, Glenn Maynard and Serge Luca.

Home Service

Home Service was a British folk rock or electric folk band, formed in late 1980 from a nucleus of musicians who had been playing in Ashley Hutchings' Albion Band. Their short career is generally agreed to have peaked with the album Alright Jack, which is usually considered one of the finest products of the electric folk genre and has been highly influential on later work. Several members of the band, including most obviously John Tams, have gone on to very successful solo careers and to take part in other significant projects.

Rachid Taha

Rachid Taha (Arabic: رشيد طه) (born 1958) is a French-Algerian musician. His music is influenced by many different styles such as rock, techno, and raï. Taha was born in Oran, Algeria. His father was a factory worker. Taha's family immigrated to France in 1968. While working in a heating appliance factory in the late 1970s, Taha founded Les Refoulés ("The Rejects"), a nightclub where he would spin mashups of Arabic pop classics over Led Zeppelin, Bo Diddley, and Kraftwerk backbeats.

The musical and cultural millipede that is the Invisible Opera Company of Tibet, according to hippy mythology was originally born in a Parisian Cafe on Easter Sunday 1966, but that's only the beginning of the story... Invisible Opera Company of Tibet is a code name created by the poet-musician Daevid Allen of the Gong band, which original idea is, as he says, "an international ideological/spiritual/ aesthetic communications network for artists of all kinds.... who share the common vision of warm hearted. pan-stylistic, inclusive art forms which serve the drive towards conscious evolution".
