Nick Harper

Son of the legendary folk/blues singer-songwriter Roy Harper, Nick Harper has forged his own way ahead to become recognised as one of Britain’s finest acoustic singer/guitarists. Having played the guitar from the age of 10 (he is completely self-taught) and surrounded by the likes of Keith Moon, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and David Gilmour during his early years, it was no surprise when Nick made his recording debut on his father's Whatever Happened to Jugula? in 1985.

MMOSS

From the damp and misty woods of New Hampshire emerges the second full length from psychedelic jam warriors MMOSS. The minute we heard the band's 2011 debut on Burger Records they immediately rocketed to the front of our release "wish list". Recorded by the band themselves at home "Only Children" is everything we could have hoped for. The songs swirl and shimmer as the vocals waver and glide together like the trippiest acid test light show. 'Only Children' is a decidedly heavier trip than the debut album paring down the sheer number of tracks in favor of expanded blasts of musical mayhem.

Dead Letter Chorus

Upon your first listen to the arousing indie-folk style of Dead Letter Chorus, you too will feel whisked away from the confines of the everyday. Their debut EP ‘Listen Carefully (we shall say this only once)’ is due for release on 7th July through CodeOne/MGM. Recorded over just one rainy day, this EP is both reflective of the bands live dramatic energy and their more intimate, introspective side. The beauty of this raw recording is that all subtleties and inflections are picked up. The result: a strangely captivating recording by a group of artists who are on the cusp of stardom.

Feathers

There is more than one artist with this name. 1. http://www.myspace.com/feathersfamily
Looking (and often sounding) as though they've been sent directly from central casting, the psych-folk octet Feathers originate from the same fertile New England climates that generated the wayfaring likes of Tower Recordings and the MV & EE Medicine Show. The arrival of their debut album on Devendra Banhart and Andy Cabic's Gnomonsong label has not gone unheralded...
