Giya Kancheli (გია ყანჩელი), born 10 August 1935 in Tbilisi, is a Georgian composer resident in Belgium. Kancheli is his country's most famous living composer and arguably its best-known cultural export. His music is very communicative and immediate and often has a spiritual quality, which leads some to compare him (not always helpfully) to composers such as Arvo Pärt and John Tavener. The Space Lady (aka Suzy Soundz) is San Francisco's most enchanting street musician. Whether on keyboard or accordion, her music stops sidewalk traffic even in this multi-task town. She usually performs wearing a whimsical steel helmet with angel wings, which makes her easy to recognize but belies the credibility of her haunting vocal interpretations of well known songs. The Space Lady, whose real name is Susan Dietrich, made only a full length CD of San Francisco sessions for sale. The disc features Susan performing live on Casio with effects.

Kym Mazelle (born Kimberley Grigsby in 1960, in Gary, Indiana, U.S.) is an American soul music singer. She was brought up and lived on the same street as the Jackson family and knew Michael Jackson's mother and uncle. Early in her career, in the late 1980s and early 1990s, she enjoyed major success in the European house music scene, and performed as a member of Soul II Soul. However she is probably best known as the singer of the cover version of the song "Young Hearts Run Free", in the 1996 Baz Luhrmann film, William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet.

Francis Jean Marcel Poulenc (January 7, 1899 - January 30, 1963) was a French composer and a member of the French Group Les Six. He was a Parisian by birth and death, and always preferred the city to the country. His mother, an amateur pianist, taught him to play, and music formed a part of family life.
Poulenc was a member of Les Six, a group of young French composers, Darius Milhaud, Georges Auric, Louis Durey, Arthur Honegger and Germaine Tailleferre, who also had links with Erik Satie and Jean Cocteau.
Apparently mining his own aural Sutton Hoo, Giuseppe Ielasi is an Italian experimental guitarist and electronic botherer, who pulls all sorts of musical styles from the trench labelled 'Gesine'. Coming across as partially improvised, 'Gesine' is Ielasi's first solo work since 2003's 'Plan's, and is again witness to a veritable cornucopia of finds. Ranging from shuffling Bert Jansch folk and diet-drone, through to glitch plagued bass and waterlogged guitars, 'Gesine' is superficially sepulchral, but penetrate the surface and it's an eclectic oasis of melodious rectitude.
