Cult of Luna

Cult of Luna are a Swedish Sludge/Post-Metal band formed in 1998 in Umeå, Sweden by guitarist/vocalist Johannes Persson and vocalist Klas Rydberg. After some member hunting and rehearsals CoL had its first line-up consisting of: Klas Rydberg, Johannes Persson, Magnus Lindberg, Erik Olofsson and Fredrik Renstrom. After a short period of time, Fredrik had to leave due to some personal difficulties.

Norman Skipp

Norm Skipp is a NZ/UK composer/sonic artist, video artist and online editor/compositor based in Manchester, UK He creates innovative sound and visual compositions often in collaboration with a diverse range of artists. He completed a Music degree (composition) in New Zealand in 1994 studying with Jack Body, Ross Harris, John Elmsly and John Rimmer. In 2007, while in residence at the Centre Création Musicale Iannis Xenakis (CCMIX) in Paris, he studied with Gérard Pape, Jean-Claude Risset, Trevor Wishart, Curtis Roads, Harry Halbreich, Agostino Di Scipio and Makis Solomos.

Wadada Leo Smith

Ishmael Wadada Leo Smith (18 December 1941 in Leland, Mississippi) is a trumpeter and composer working primarily in the fields of avant-garde jazz and free improvisation. He started out playing drums, mellophone and French horn before he settled on the trumpet. He played in various rhythm-n-blues groups and by 1967 became a member of the AACM and co-founded the Creative Construction Company, a trio with Leroy Jenkins and Anthony Braxton. In 1971 Smith formed his own label, Kabell.

Dave Douglas

Dave Douglas is an American (born in Montclair, New Jersey March 24th, 1963) jazz trumpeter and composer whose music is notable for drawing on many non-jazz musical styles, including classical music, european folk music and klezmer. He has been a member of the experimental big band Orange Then Blue. Douglas is currently the director of the Festival of New Trumpet Music, which is held annually in New York City.

Charles Curtis

Cellist Charles Curtis is an internationally renowned performer and composer of a wide variety of music, with particular emphasis on the avant-garde. Curtis is most strongly associated with minimalism, modern classical, and so-called "downtown music." A graduate of the prestigious Juilliard School, Curtis has since been involved with the music department at Princeton University and at the University of California, San Diego, where he has served as Professor of Contemporary Music Performance since the year 2000.
