There is two bands named Atonement. 1. Atonement is a death metal project from Istanbul, Turkey. 2. ATONEMENT, a Melodic Black Metal band from the suburbs of Figueira da Foz - Portugal, started to build up its dream in August 1997 with only four elements - Mário Vilas (guitars), Rui Galo (vocals), Pedro Vilas (drums) and Gualdino Galo (guitars). Coffins are a Japanese death-doom metal band, formed in 1996 by guitarist and vocalist Uchino. Having gone through several lineup changes in the past, they now consist of Uchino, Ryo (drums) and Koreeda (bass). Their sound is influenced by old school '80s and '90s doom metal, death metal and thrash metal. After several demos they released their 1st full-length album "Mortuary In Darkness" in 2005.
Darkane (formerly known as Agretator) is a Melodic Death / Thrash Metal band formed in Helsingborg, Sweden in 1998. The name Darkane is a portmanteau of the words "dark" and "arcane". The first album featured Lawrence Mackory, who had a much more death metal influenced voice. After 1998's Rusted Angel, Andreas Sydow was recruited, and handled vocals on the next three albums, Insanity, Expanding Senses, and Layers of Lies. He decided to leave the band in 2007 and Jens Broman (Construcdead, The Defaced) took his place for Demonic Art.

After an album was recorded, Chris Basile (the one constant Pyrexia member throughout their career) left that band, and has since recruited an all-new Pyrexia lineup. A new CD, Cruelty Beyond Submission, featuring eight remastered older tunes and three brand-new ones) was released in 2004.
