Lawrence Power

There are at least two artists who perform as Lawrence Power:
1) A world-renowned classical viola player, and
2) A chiptune/8-Bit artist who records for the Pterodactyl Squad label.
1) Lawrence Power is an acclaimed violist who has won numerous international prizes as well as being selected for the BBC 'New Generations' Scheme, which led to numerous broadcasts in recital and as a soloist with the BBC Orchestras.

Shirobon

This is Shirobon, an 18 year old producer/musician from London who creates a range of electronic music designed to please the ears.
Started in early 2008 he discovered a tracker type music sequencer for the Nintendo Gameboy called 'LSDJ'. He used this to create music via triggering loops created and placing them together to make bleepy type songs.
A year down the line and Shirobon has now blossomed in his ways of creating music.

Vim

Vim - or Vim! as he is also known - has been making lo-fi electronic music since the early 90s. His sound is inspired by old computer games, melodic pop, and a bit of anything else he picks up on the way. He has had releases on the labels Merck, Surgery, the online label Monotonik, as well as several compilation tracks. Generally, he's a flawed yet likeable individual.

Matt Gray

1. Matt Gray , USA, Instrumental music written and performed by matt gray. Acoustic and electric instrumentals in blues, jazz, folk, rock, and others. The cd puzzle was released in the fall of 2006. 2. Matt Gray was a music programmer in the 80s for home computers mostly on the Commodore 64 . One of his most famous tracks was the soundtrack to Last ninja 2 released in 1988. 3. Matt Gray, lead singer and front-man of Prince Polo. Has a solo project titled Matt Gray and the Gray Matts.

Combat Dave

Combat Dave is a chiptune musician from the North West of England producing energetic dance and drum-and-bass style music. Having gigged with the likes of Sabrepulse and Pixelh8, Combat Dave will be appearing as part of the "Summer of Chiptune" tour in August 2008 alongside artists such as Falco Lombardi, CasioKid, and Henry Homesweet. He primarily uses LSDJ through a pro-sound modded Nintendo Gameboy, in combination with Ableton Live and various VST effects.

DJ Scotch Egg

DJ Scotch Egg (born Shigeru Ishihara) is a Japanese producer of Chiptune / Gabber music based in Brighton, UK. Shige started out making improvised noise music performing under the name shiez 2000 and later contributed to a few little known groups including; Megadrive, Noony Banoony, and The Fighting Seizure Robots Busking Crew. After moving to Brighton from Tokyo, he founded Brighton's premier breakcore/noise night Wrong Music with friends Henry Collins (aka Shitmat) and Matt (Roger Species). Collins took Shige under his wing, & convinced him to use his Game Boy to create gabber tracks.

Cheapshot

There are three artists under the title Cheapshot: a dubstep and chiptune artist from Tokyo, a hiphop DJ from California, USA, and a now defunct punk band from Adelaide, South Australia. 1. Cheapshot is strongly influenced by dubstep bass lines, 8-bit music and all things that go BOOM! His chiptune monsters combine dub, uk funky, dubstep and breakbeat. His latest release is a 2 track EP on Metrodub. He has also released an EP on 8bitpeoples called 'zOMG!!'. His earlier works can be found on Amenorea Records, and Enough Records.
