Syphus is a demoscene/chiptune musician based in Newcastle, UK. He is a member of Up Rough, CpH and BDSE demogroups and composes mainly on the Commodore Amiga. As well as having released many tunes in scene productions over the years (most recently on the Bitfellas 'Bitjam' DVD), Syphus performs his music live. 2007 saw his participation in the Chiptune Alliance tour of the UK and a mini-tour of venues in New York as part of Project Transonic.
She & Him is an American indie folk band consisting of actress Zooey Deschanel (vocals, keyboards) and musician M. Ward (guitar, production). The pair first met in 2006 for a movie soundtrack project for the film 'The Go-Getter' in which they recorded a version of Richard and Linda Thompson’s "When I Get To The Border”. Their first studio album, Volume One, was released in March of 2008 on Merge Records. Their second studio album, Volume Two, was released March 23, 2010, just over two years since the release of Volume One.

Nullsleep creates powerful romantic pop using repurposed low-bit electronics in a relentless search for new ways to circumvent their limitations. Bittersweet melodies and driving, rhythmic pulses are coaxed out of small plastic devices to produce a surprisingly intense sound. In 1999 Nullsleep cofounded 8bitpeoples, a collective of artists interested in the audio-visual aesthetics of early home computers and video game consoles.
There are three artists under the title Cheapshot: a dubstep and chiptune artist from Tokyo, a hiphop DJ from California, USA, and a now defunct punk band from Adelaide, South Australia. 1. Cheapshot is strongly influenced by dubstep bass lines, 8-bit music and all things that go BOOM! His chiptune monsters combine dub, uk funky, dubstep and breakbeat. His latest release is a 2 track EP on Metrodub. He has also released an EP on 8bitpeoples called 'zOMG!!'. His earlier works can be found on Amenorea Records, and Enough Records.
Internationally renowned chip tune musician Pixelh8 makes his music from reprogramming vintage computer systems such as the ZX spectrum, Commodore 64 and Game Boy. His unique blend of Electronica has taken him across the globe, performing at Microdisco in Berlin, Apple iTunes in California, BBC Maida Vale Studios for Radio 1 in London, Assembly 2008 in Helsinki Finland and most recently Game In The City in Holland. Highly regarded in this emerging genre of music, he has been interviewed by both CNN and the BBC, as well several magazines and websites all over the world.

The Gothsicles are an electronic band from Chicago, Illinois, USA. Their music is generally of the electronic music variety, but deals thematically with more humorous topics than their contemporaries, often writing about classic videogaming or lampooning the musical conventions of the genre. 2009 saw the release of their latest album "Sega Lugosi's Dead" on WTII Records. Sega Lugosi’s Dead features guest appearances from Prometheus Burning, Cyanotic, The Dark Clan and unwittingly, Caustic.
Firebrand Boy is a chiptune and electronica producer from Greenock, Scotland. He is part of the new wave of chiptune musicians who were born after the rise of the demoscene.
