Tokyo Blade

Tokyo Blade was founded in 1982 by Andy Boulton (lead guitar) and Andy Robbins (bass) along with Alan Marsh (vocals), Ray Dismore (guitar) and Steve Pierce (drums) under the name Killer. They recorded a demo, and went through a name change, to Genghis Khan, before another change to Tokyo Blade. After this, Dismore left and was replaced by John Wiggins. After re-releasing their demos, they recieved a record contract with Powerstation.

Turbo

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Turbo is a metal band. It was started in January 1980 by Henryk Tomczak (formerly in Stress and Heam, both pioneering groups). The first line-up were formed by Wojciech Hoffmann – guitar, Wojciech Anioła – drums and Wojciech Sowula – vocals. Soon a single was released, the tracks being W środku tej nocy (Deep in the Night) and Byłem z tobą tyle lat (So many years with you).

W.A.S.P.

W.A.S.P. is an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 which gained notoriety for its"shock rock"-image, music and live performances. The band, formed in Los Angeles, California, initially consisted of Blackie Lawless, Rik Fox, Randy Piper and Tony Richards. The band initially became famous for its raunchy and at times shocking live shows; Lawless was known to tie semi-naked models to a torture rack and hurl raw meat into the audience. The band's debut single, entitled Animal (Fuck Like a Beast), was equally controversial.

The Sport

The Sport are a new band from Stoke-on-Trent who are proud to be in possession of a bunch of soaring singalong anthems that inspire everyone who hear them play to want to join in the fun – be it singing, dancing, moshing, crowdsurfing what have you! So far so Good! But here’s the twist, behind the ladrock exterior lies lyrically excellent front man Nic Andrews whose self-parodying lyrics in songs such as Lightweight are a sheer joy.

Apollonia

Born Patricia Kotero on August 2, 1959 in Santa Monica, California, Apollonia Kotero is a swimsuit model, actress and singer of Italian and Mexican descent. She joined Prince's entourage after the departure of Vanity, Denise Matthews, as lead in the film Purple Rain and as lead-singer of recording group Apollonia 6. Kotero had taken part in nationwide audition to find a replacement for Vanity before being cast by Prince in the role that had originally been given to Vanity.

The project formed by Natasha Donald (Guitars) and Rob Walker (Guitars / Bass) to further explore the more melodic nature of their combined playing styles. Now joined by Pete James (Vocals), Mat Thorpe (Bass / Guitars) and Steve Drawbridge (Drums) the band is working hard on tracks for their forthcoming debut EP. Our style has been described as '...jangly swirling guitars driven on by powerful drums and pounding bass...'

Blue Murder

1) Blue Murder was the hard rock brainchild of ex-Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy guitarist John Sykes. The original 1988 lineup of the band, also included ex-The Firm bass player Tony Franklin and drummer Cozy Powell (although he was almost immediately replaced by Carmine Appice). Ray Gillen was also briefly in the 1988 line-up before Sykes decided to take the vocal duties himself in addition to guitar.

Brian Hyland

Brian was born November 12, 1943, in Brooklyn/Queens, New York City, where his first musical experience ranged from church choir at nine, to clarinet and guitar, to his first local harmony group, the Delfis. In 1959, they cut a demo record and made the rounds of New York City record labels. Finally, with much persistence, after many closed doors, Brian was signed as a solo artist to a management contract, where he cut demos for band leader Sammy Kaye's publishing company. Kapp Records heard a demo and signed Brian at age 16.
