They're not very well known these days but they were among the first and most succesful bands and did some solid groundwork for the Finnish metal scene that blooms today. Streets is a rock band that Kansas vocalist Steve Walsh formed in the 80s. They released two albums for Atlantic Records starting with 1983's 1st, and 1985's Crimes in Mind. The former featured the hit If Love Should Go, but both albums didn't do very well in the sales market, and Atlantic dropped them in 1985. Wounded Bird Records reissued both the band's albums on CD in 2002. (Not to be confused with hip-hop act The Streets.)
Y&T (Yesterday & Today) is a rock band who formed in 1974. They hail from California's East Bay. The band put out two albums on London Records in the 1970s, before releasing several albums on A&M Records beginning in 1981, as well as albums on Geffen Records, Avex Records, and others. The original members of Y&T are Dave Meniketti (lead vocals and lead guitar), Leonard Haze (drums), Phil Kennemore (bass), and Joey Alves (rhythm guitar). Haze was replaced by Jimmy DeGrasso in 1986. Alves was replaced by Stef Burns in 1989.
