New Order

New Order is an alternative rock/electronic dance band which formed in 1980 in Salford, England, United Kingdom by the three remaining members of Joy Division. The band's classic lineup consists of Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Peter Hook (bass, electronic percussion), Gillian Gilbert (keyboards, guitar) and Stephen Morris (drums, keyboards). This unit effectively disbanded in 1993 but reformed in 1998.

The House Of Love

The House of Love are a British rock band who were primarily active from the late 1980s to early 90s, and reformed in 2005. The band's original lineup was: Guy Chadwick (vocals, guitar), Terry Bickers (guitar), Andrea Heukamp (vocals, guitar), Pete Evans (drums) and Chris Groothuizen (bass). Bickers left in 1989 and was replaced by Simon Walker, who in turn was replaced by Simon Mawby in 1992. Andrea Heukamp left the band in 1988, returning briefly in 1991.

Alessi

There are multiple musiians who have performaed under the name "Alessi" 1. Alessi is a 17-year-old female singer-songwriter from the U.K. She has been producing 'zines since she was 14 and making songs for about that time. She has produced a hand-crafted EP and expected to release some new songs on a split EP with Thunder Power and kasina in Spring 2008. Her work falls into the psych-folk genre, and her live performance style has been described as "adorable and sweet". Her influences include Vashti Bunyan and Animal Collective.

Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin were an English rock band originally formed in 1968 by guitarist Jimmy Page under the name "The New Yardbirds", based on Page's previous band, The Yardbirds. The band formed when Jimmy Page (guitar) recruited Robert Plant (vocals, harmonica), John Paul Jones (bass guitar, keyboards, mandolin), and John Bonham (drums). With their heavy, guitar-driven blues-rock sound, Led Zeppelin are regularly cited as one of the progenitors of heavy metal and hard rock music. However, the band's individualistic style drew from many sources and transcends any one genre.

a-ha is a norwegian new wave band that was most popular in the UK and the USA during the 1980s, but continued to be globally successful in the 1990s and 2000s. The trio, composed of lead vocalist Morten Harket, guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and keyboardist Magne Furuholmen, formed in 1982 and left Norway for London in order to make a career in the music business. The origin of the name a-ha comes from the lyric of an early song. After checking dictionaries in several languages, they found out that 'a-ha' was an international way of expressing recognition, with positive connotations.

Johnny Hates Jazz

"Johnny Hates Jazz" were for a couple of months in the late eighties the toast of the global music industry and their clients, us. A three piece band, they released a string of world wide smash hits between April 1987 and February 1988, before splitting and sinking back into oblivion. The band's first incarnation consisted of Clark Datchler (vocals, keys), Calvin Hayes (keys) and bassist Mike Nocito.

Donny Osmond

Donald Clark Osmond, born December 9, 1957 is a pop icon. One of the biggest teen idols of the 1970s, he's continued to reinvent himself over the course of his 40 plus year career. Donny Osmond's biggest hit came from the 1998 Walt Disney Pictures movie "Mulan." Osmond sang the hugely inspirational song "I'll Make A Man Out Of You." The song is loved by people young and old. At the age of five, he stepped out onto the Andy Williams Show soundstage, and instantly won the hearts of viewers.

1) Legacy were an American Bay Area thrash metal band which later changed their name to Testament. This incarnation of the band featured Steve "Zetro" Souza on vocals, before he left to join Exodus.
