Bob James (born December 25, 1939) is a two-time Grammy Award-winning jazz keyboardist. Though he has recorded a couple of straight jazz albums, most of his recordings contain "pop-jazz" which is a type of instrumental pop music. Bob James was an important figure in turning 1970s fusion jazz more commercial. For their album One on One, Earl Klugh and Bob James received a Grammy award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance of 1981.
DJ Z-Trip (born Zach Sciacca) is a mashup DJ. A Phoenix, Arizona native, he was known early in his career for performing with the Bombshelter DJs (DJ Emile, DJ Radar, and DJ Z-Trip). He became widely known when his collaboration with DJ P, Uneasy Listening, Vol. 1, was released in 2001. Only 1000 copies were made, but the album was soon distributed over the Internet in MP3 format. Since then he has become well-known worldwide for his eclectic style.
Red Lorry Yellow Lorry (commonly referred to simply as "The Lorries") is a post-punk band formed by guitarist/songwriter Chris Reed and vocalist Mark Sweeney, along with bassist Steve Smith and drummer Mick Brown (who would later join The Mission). Sweeney left the band in late 1981 and Reed permanently took over as vocalist, with Martin Fagan joining as a second guitarist. The Supremes were a very successful motown all-female singing group active from 1959 until 1977, performing at various times doo-wop, pop, soul, broadway showtunes, psychedelia, and disco. One of Motown's signature acts, The Supremes were the most successful African-American musical act of the 1960s, recording twelve #1 hits between 1964 and 1969, many of them written and produced by Motown's main songwriting and production team, Holland-Dozier-Holland.
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are an American rock band led by Joan Jett. After The Runaways split in 1979, Jett pursued solo career and met Kenny Laguna and soon released her self-titled debut. Shortly after that, with Kenny's assistance, Joan formed The Blackhearts with three obscure New York area musicians: Gary Ryan on bass, Eric Ambel (replaced shortly thereafter by Rick Byrd) on guitar and Lee Crystal on drums.

They formed in 2002 but their final show was held in 2008. 2. Victim was a punk band formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland that later relocated to Manchester, England in 1979. They disbanded in 1986.

Tanita Tikaram is a German-born, British-raised artist, born to a Malaysian mother and Indo-Fijian British army officer father. She is the sister of actor Ramon Tikaram and currently resides in London. As a singer-songwriter, Tikaram scored her greatest hit to date with Twist In My Sobriety, from her debut album Ancient Heart in 1988, when she was 19 years of age. After two years she released her second album The Sweet Keeper, containing songs such as Sunset's Arrived and Harm In Your Hands.
Lil Louis is the stage name used by Chicago-born house music producer and DJ Louis Burns. He scored a number of hits on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the eighties and nineties, three of which hit #1.
His best known song, "French Kiss," featured vocals by Shawn Christopher and spent two weeks at #1 on the dance chart in 1989. The house track (now considered a classic) features a several-minutes-long breakdown in which the music gradually slowed down in tempo to a complete stop and left nothing but orgasmic moaning from Ms.
Technotronic is a studio-based house music project from Belgium, formed by Jo Bogaert (a.k.a. Thomas De Quincey) in 1988. Together with Ya Kid K (born Manuela Kamosi, 1973, Zaire), he produced the hit single Pump Up The Jam which was originally intended as an instrumental. An image for the act was put together utilizing Zairian-born fashion model Felly (allegedly without her permission) as its album and single cover art and "singer" in the music video. Ya Kid K went on to provide vocals on several other Technotronic tracks.
