Decadence in Berlin

Robert was born first. Then Graham, by an entirely unconnected chain of events. Afterwards, Lucy was born by the same parents as Robert. Everything else is mostly unimportant. In February 2009 the band recorded their first EP, "Setbacks", with Ben Millington of Ever The Joker on production duties. Robert also performs under the name Pygmy King.
Graham also performs under the name Hey Nostradamus!, and has previously played in Lost Property Dept. and drivingblind.
Collectively, Graham and Robert have performed together as Trenchfoot (Mindlube).

Monad - any basic metaphysical entity, esp. having an autonomous life. BRAINCORE about MONAD :
“The evolution from drummer/bass player to frantic, melodic breakcore genius is now complete….Monad’s sound is an orchestra of pounding beats, rumbling bass, drill & bass style and grinding synths that will whip your mind into a frenzy.”
comments/e-mails are welcome. MONAD is also the name of my electronic music project/live band.

The Black Sea

The Black Sea was formed from the ashes of Frodus in 2002 when Frodus's Shelby Cinca and Jason Hamacher decided to continue playing together. At the time they recruited Fugazi bassist Joe Lally to play bass. At the time they weren't sure on if the musical endeavor would go beyond just playing music. In February 2002, Hamacher left for a 3 month excursion to Eastern Europe and Turkey after recording drum tracks for the pair.

The only two consistent members are Jon Snodgrass (guitar, vocals) and Paul Rucker (drums). It is a running joke in the band that their bassists never last long...
