Note To Self: Don't Die!

Note To Self: Don’t Die!. Claire Banfield - vocals
Gerard Rada Nedich - guitars, drums, bass, piano etc... They are a true DIY band. They record their songs themselves, design and build their own website and even sell their songs as mp3 downloads on their website. They have been compared to Blondie, PJ Harvey and The Breeders although they would say they just write songs that they like to listen to and would hate to be pigeonholed. They record their songs in Gerard's spare bedroom on a cheap Apple Mac Mini and Garageband software that came with the computer.

Robh Hokum

Gentle acoustic numbers with a wonderful scratchy sound and background fuzz that makes it feel like a lost folk recording from distant days past. Listen closer
and a world of haunting alternatives to the everyday that would turn Lewis Carroll green with envy are slowly revealed.

Pete Gioconda

PETE GIOCONDA’s songs are notable for their unique sound fused from new wave, pop and folk/rock influences, mingling poetic lyrics with a punk attitude and playful unpretentiousness. Youthful songs of mischief, desire, loss and sadness, plus transcendent perceptions . . . “Gutsy folk/rock with a nod to Marriott/Dylan and Ray Davies.” Pete Gioconda grew up on a small island. After studying in London, he began to write poems and explore his surroundings – hitching round Britain several times, including the Outer Hebrides and Orkneys, “heavenly with a girl”, and the south and west of Ireland.
