Jaime Regan

October 2011... Since the release of the True North EP in 2009, Jaime Regan has been on an extensive tour of New Zealand (taking in shows in Sydney, Australia on the trip home) and a tour of Switzerland, as well as playing gigs all over the UK, before taking a break from gigging to write and record new material. This summer he began work on his new album, returning to Church Road Studios in Hove to work with producer Julian Tardo.

Quickbeam are named after a type of tree (the Rowan family, green-geeks), a tree that apparently has positive influence over the negative and is sacred to those who worship it (in mythological language anyway). Luke Sital-Singh is Fellow Stranger and Fellow Stranger is Luke Sital-Singh. Under that elemental handle, the young singer-songwriter from Brighton has his roots in an eclectic mix of songsmiths both young and old, from Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Joni Mitchell to Damien Rice, Josh Ritter and Tallest Man On Earth. Sonically Luke and his band nod towards the grandeur of Sigur Ros with the haunting harmonies akin to Bon Iver.

Owen Williams

Owen Williams is a singer songwriter from Southend, Essex in the UK. He has been playing his acoustic based folk for a few years, playing a handful of gigs and writing songs. Now he has got a collection of songs together, with the help of a few friends, and is putting them out there for you to listen to. Influences are wide and diverse, ranging from Bob Dylan and Ryan Adams to Nick Cave and 60s soul. More gigs and recordings are to follow.
