San Francisco based musician Chuck Prophet originally gained recognition as the youngest member of 80's college rock stalwarts Green on Red, with whom he was featured on numerous albums and touring lineups. In the early 1990's, as Green on Red faded to black, Prophet began performing with his future wife Stefanie Finch and releasing independent records on a variety of small labels. Prophet released his solo debut Brother Aldo in 1990 on Fire records,(later reissued in the late 1990's on Walter Yetnikoff's Velvel imprint.

Some call it country, some call it roots-and-blues, and others call it rough-around- the-edges folk. Lynne Hanson calls her music "porch music with a little Texas red dirt."

It’s a sound that’s been receiving applause from enamoured critics and devoted fans in Canada, the US, Europe and Australia, garnering Hanson the 2010 Colleen Peterson Songwriting Award, a 2009 Canadian Folk Music Award nomination, and a place as a finalist in the prestigious 2009 Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk competition.

The Legendary Shack Shakers' hell-for-leather roadshow has earned quite a name for itself with its unique brand of Southern Gothic that is all-at-once irreverent, revisionist, dangerous, and fun. Led by their wildly charismatic, rail-thin frontman/blues-harpist, J.D. Wilkes, the Shack Shakers are a four-man wrecking crew from the South whose explosive interpretations of the blues, punk, rock and country have made fans, critics and legions of potential converts into true believers.

The Welcome Wagon is a married couple, the Reverend Thomas Vito Aiuto and his wife Monique, who execute a genre of gospel music that is refreshingly plain. Their hymns are modest and melodic takes on a vast history of sacred song traditions, delivered with the simple desire to know their Maker—and to know each other—more intimately.
