Horrorpops
Band founders Patricia Day and Kim Nekroman first met when Day's now-defunct band, the punk rock group Peanut Pump Gun, opened for Nekroman's psychobilly band, Nekromantix, at a festival in Cologne, Germany in 1996. Despite both belonging to the subculture scene of Copenhagen, Denmark, the two had never met before, but they became friends over their mutual interest in alternative music. The two would eventually marry.
The Creepshow
The Creepshow is a psychobilly band from Burlington, Ontario; Canada. The band formed in 2005 when the four members (Hellcat, Sickboy, McGinty, and Pomade) got together with the purpose of starting a hellbilly band. The Creepshow writes the majority of their songs about Horror Films, with the music fitting the horror punk genre. The band has its roots in the 905 music scene with most members having been in various garage bands before The Creepshow.
The Matadors
There are two bands called The Matadors: 1. In early 1995 Joel "Hooch" Parkins started a rockabilly band with his two friends "Creepin'" Jeff Sheppard and some other guy. They played the "Z" circuit clubs of rural Ontario for about a year with much success. Riling up the plowmen and women of tobacco country is no small feat but they seemed to hold a power over them, forcing them to drink more and more booze until the farmers were unable to tend to their fields.
The Crookes
The Crookes are not the pilfering scoundrels that their name suggests, but rather met in a leafy Sheffield suburb of the same name. Born from a mutual love of 60's pop and rag-time indie, the band have already established their own very unique sound. Expect singalongs, hand clapping and war-time Romance.
