1) Militia is a Belgian industrial percussion band. It was founded in 1989 by the multi-instrumentalist Frank Gorissen and wind instrument player Jo Billen and now 6 musicians are involved. The band is known for its use of self made percussion and wind instruments and the scrap material they transform into musical instruments. The band's music is often inspired by the anarchic and atheist social views and their concirn about our natural environment, themes that can be found in most of their lyrics and statements.

Angel Olsen

Angel Olsen hails from sunny, gorgeous, post-industrial St. Louis, Missouri. Beginning her performing career at age 16 in coffee shops, she now hones her craft in Chicago, Illinois, with recent tours to both seaboards and upcoming collaborations with members of the national indie music scene. Her intimate songwriting is coupled with a strong, ethereal tone and hypnotic rhythm acoustic guitar, borrowing from influences as varied as Skeeter Davis and homespun Americana to Spanish guitar and the French New-Wave chanteuse Francoise Hardy.

Fire + Ice

Ian Read founded Fire + Ice in 1991 after several years as a member of Sol Invictus. According to their sole website, "The heartlessness of the modern commercial consumer society ruins the lives of many. FIRE + ICE takes the purity and philosophy of early music and melds it into a message redolent with powerful seeds of honour, truth, loyalty and the bond of true friendship." The music reflects Read's keen interests in magic lore, runes, tradition, renaissance medievalism, Nordic mysticism and other esoteric and occult mysteries.

Sol Invictus

Sol Invictus is an English neofolk and neoclassical group fronted by Tony Wakeford.
Wakeford founded Sol Invictus in order to pursue his own musical ideas. He was an original member of Crisis and Death in June with Douglas P.. He formed Sol Invictus in 1987, working with Ian Read and Karl Blake. He has been the sole constant of the group, as it continues to bring forth new forms and conceptions.

Tony Wakeford

Anthony Charles "Tony" Wakeford is an English folk and neoclassical musician who primarily records under the name Sol Invictus.
Wakeford was the bassist for the English political punk band Crisis from 1977 until the band's termination in 1980. He then formed Death in June with Crisis guitarist Douglas Pearce and Patrick Leagas (currently a member of Mother Destruction). Wakeford was asked to leave Death In June after recording the Burial album in 1984, but remained on good terms with Pearce, appearing on stage with him much later.

Darkwood considers itself as a project arisen from the idea to express our love we feel for the homeland we have been born into and we can identify with.
The music is a fusion of traditional themes and experimental soundscapes. Acoustic instruments are used as well as synthetic noises and samples completed by English and German vocals. Several topics Darkwood deals with are to be considered from an analytic historical or psychological point of view. Started in the early 1990s, In Gowan Ring plays acoustic songs with strong roots in folk, medieval, and psychedelic music.
