There is more than one artist with the name Embrace, the first two of whom are significant:
1) a five-piece indie band from Leeds, England, who have enjoyed significant success in UK, including three number one albums and six Top 10 singles
2) a Post-Hardcore/Post-Punk band from Washington D.C. that had a galvanizing influence on the Washington, D.C. punk scene of the 80's and featured Ian MacKaye (who subsequently formed Fugazi)
3) a Dutch Trance duo
4) a Canadian Gothic Metal band

The Faces of Sarah

British Goth Rockers The Faces of Sarah follow up their critically acclaimed debut album 24 with their second album Lament released on Malicious Damage Records. Dr Arthur Krause

Dr. Arthur Krause were formed 2001 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Since the start the band established themselves as a good live act, crammed with gothic energy and powerful choruses, not heard since the mid-80s. 2003 they signed up a record deal with M&A Music Art and the debut album “BEFORE AND AFTER” was released in 2004. 2007 they release next CD album “WHEN LOVE IS DEAD”. During 2007 they also headline Gotham Nights 12th anniversary and Gothenburg Gothic Gathering.

Venus Fly Trap

Venus Fly Trap were formed in Northampton, UK, in the late 1980's.
Their eclectic style of alternative music blended post-punk with goth to form a dark psychedelic hybrid. Early releases came out via French label DANCETERIA (Venus In Fleurs) that led to tours in France, Belgium and Germany.
European interest has always been strong further albums came out via Azyl (Czech Republic), Spectre (Germany), Soundbuster (Germany) and SPV (Germany/Poland).
More tours followed getting to new territories including Holland, Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary, Austria and Poland.

Inkubus Sukkubus

Inkubus Sukkubus is a British Pagan band who have been releasing albums and touring since their formation in Cheltenham, UK in 1988 as Belas Knapp. The group quickly became a Pagan-oriented ensemble, Children of the Moon, under which name they released their first single and an album, both entitled "Beltaine". The band's present name was adopted in 1991, but spelt Incubus Succubus until 1995. After a turbulent few first years (at one point the band almost split up, leaving only Candia Ridley and Tony McKormack working together on the band as a studio project)...

Mandragora Scream

Mandragora Scream's Project was born in 1997 from an idea by Morgan Lacroix, who realized in 1999 a demo CD "Promo Track 99" in the New Sin Studios in Italy.
During the summer of 2000, Mandragora Scream (Morgan Lacroix) finally became a group. Morgan Lacroix and Terry Horn started together their journey and between the years 2000 and 2001 they realized their first album "Fairy Tales From Hell's Caves" (released by Nuclear Blast).

The Caves

A German Gothic Rock band active in the mid 90s. The Cure seems to have been one of their big influences, especially in vocals. They released two albums. Drifting In Visions in 1994 and Sue in 1995.
