Redd Kross, a rock band from Hawthorne, California had their roots in 1978 in a band called The Tourists begun by Jeff and Steve McDonald while the brothers were still in middle school. With the addition of friends Greg Hetson and Dave Keller on guitar and John Stielow on drums, the band's first gig was opening for Black Flag. At the time of their first self-titled EP, in 1980, the band changed their name to Red Cross, which was allegedly inspired by the masturbation scene in the film, The Exorcist.

There are more than 6 bands with the name Arcadia: a British pop band, an Australian Metalcore band, an Italian industrial/thrash metal band, a Japanese power metal band , a Canadian Christian Rock band, a Latin band, a Filipino Metalcore band. 1. Arcadia was the pop group formed in 1985 by Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes and Roger Taylor of Duran Duran, during a break in that band's schedule. The Twinkles born in October ’96 with the following line up: Nick Mess (vocals, lead guitar), True (drums, chorus), Marky (guitar, chorus), Linda (bass, chorus). The line up changes till July ’99 when they decide to continue playing in three. On June 2000 they make a mini tour of two dates in Slovakia, arranged by the punk band Zona A. On the beginning of October 2001 The Twinkles come back to the 4 persons set up and they debut 14th October 2001.
