Horse Thief is a psychedelic folk rock band based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, featuring Cameron Neal on vocals and guitar, Preston Greer on drums, Cody Fowler on bass, and Danny Rose on keys Horse Thief's debut LP Grow Deep, Grow Wild showcases the band's raw vocals, hollow guitar swells, colossal bass, and mountainous drums. Will Johnson is the frontman of both the alt-country bands Centro-matic and South San Gabriel. He played drums in the band Funland prior to these groups and has played solo throughout his career. He recently released an album with Magnolia Electric Co. frontman Jason Molina under the name Molina & Johnson. He is also the performing drummer for the band Monsters of Folk.
Fishboy is a four-piece eccentric indie pop band from Denton, TX that began as the bedroom solo project of front man Eric Michener. He was given the nickname on a middle-school field trip after a dare to pluck and swallow a fish at the Dallas World Aquarium. Six years and several shoe boxes full of cassette tapes later, Michener moved from the suburbs to the Texas rock-and-roll Mecca of Denton with a handful of low budget recordings released by the close-knit Austin music collective Business Deal Records.
