Aimee Mann was born in Richmond, Virginia, and attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, but dropped out to sing with her first punk rock band, the young snakes; the band released the EP Bark Along with the Young Snakes in 1982, and a compilation album was issued in 2004. In 1983, seeking a return to "sweetness and melody", she co-founded with Berklee classmate and boyfriend Michael Hausman the new wave band 'Til Tuesday, which achieved minor success in 1985 with its first album, Voices Carry.

Hailing from the burgeoning Dundee music scene in Scotland, Luva Anna are beginning to lift their profile all over Britain. Folk-tinged 4-part harmonies, lead from the front as their songs shift and change, uniquely different from the last, their many different influences shinning through. In little more than two years, the band have played over 150 gigs, taking in an Academy tour (1500 + Capacity venues), and 2 British toilet tours with The View and The Law, 4 festivals (T in the Park...

Petula Clark, CBE (born November 15, 1932), is an English singer, actress and composer, best known for her upbeat popular international hits of the 1960s. With nearly 70 million recordings sold worldwide, she is the most successful English solo female recording artist to date. Perhaps best known for her massive hit 'Downtown' and whilst being English, Petula's work was heavily French-influenced.In the 1950s, she later was to branch out to become a major success in much of Europe. That success was followed by success in Scandinavia and also in Canada and Australia.
