Dennis Rollins

Dennis Rollins (b. 1964) is a British jazz trombonist, the founder and leader of Dennis Rollins' Badbone & Co. Rollins was born in Birmingham, of Jamaican parents, and brought up in Yorkshire. When he was fourteen years old, he joined The Doncaster Youth Jazz Association, with which he studied and performed for some years before moving to London in 1987. Rollins has recorded, performed, and toured with many musicians and bands in jazz and pop, including Courtney Pine, Us3, Jamiroquai,Roy Ayers, Dionne Warwick...

See I Fagiolini & Robert Hollingworth . I Fagiolini is an ensemble of immaculate musicianship, specialising in Renaissance vocal music (though they also perform contemporary works). Their style is dramatic and exciting, bringing out the rich emotional span of Renaissance poetry and music (‘First-rate musical actors… quite gorgeous…’ American Record Guide). Steve Williamson

Steve Williamson (born June 28, 1964 in London) is a British jazz saxophonist and composer. He began playing saxophone at the age of 16 and started his career playing in reggae bands (including Misty In Roots). In 1984 and 1985 he studied at London's Guildhall School of Music. At the Nelson Mandela 70th birthday open air festival in 1988 he played alongside Courtney Pine in Wembley Stadium and afterwards was a constant presence at Ronnie Scott's. He was member of Louis Moholo's Viva La Black (1988) and of Chris McGregor's Brotherhood of Breath (1990).

Alex Wilson

There are two artists with this name. 1. Alex Wilson is a Blues guitarist who picked up the guitar at five years old and never put it down. Immersed in the Milwaukee blues scene, Alex was surrounded, and influenced by such local luminaries as Stokes, Lee Gates, Jim Liban and Milwaukee Slim. Alex formed his own garage band at thirteen. By seventeen he began to dig deep into the blues, learning the songs and styles of masters such as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix and Magic Sam.

Brian Auger's Oblivion Express

In 1965 Auger formed the group Steampacket along with Long John Baldry, Julie Driscoll and Rod Stewart. With Driscoll and the band Trinity he went on to produce several hit singles, notably a cover of Bob Dylan's This Wheel's on Fire. Janette Mason

Janette Mason is a band leader, keyboard virtuoso and gifted improviser who has been a standout talent in Jazz, Pop, Indie Rock and World Music. From her high profile gigs throughout the 90s as keyboardist /side (wo)man recording and touring with artists like Seal, Oasis, k.d.Lang and Robert Wyatt, she spent a number of years on camera as Music Director for Jonathan Ross and Antoine De Caunnes on their hit British television chat shows .
