When ambitious young record store manager Oli Lazarus initiated his Reel People project back in 2000 he could only have dreamt of where those first tentative steps would lead him. Having immersed himself in the soulful house sounds of specialist record store Flying for the previous three years, Oli Lazurus had begun to feel that the musical education he had gained in-store was complete and that his tenure atthe shop was drawing to a natural end.
Shystie, pronounced ~ [§hy-§téé] is a UK female Musician/Actress, birth name Chanelle Calica who was born and raised in London. Shystie started gaining fame with her white label response to Dizzee Rascal's "I Luv U" and was also the supporting act whilst touring with 50 Cent and G-Unit, Basement Jaxx and The Streets. Pauline Henry was born on 29th January 1961, in Edinburgh. Pauline was part of The Chimes who were a successful dance music trio from Scotland, along with Mike Peden and James Locke. They are best known for their hits "Heaven" and a remake of U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," which became a UK Top Ten hit. Bono from U2 famously commented that the Chimes' cover of their hit "I Still Haven't Found What Im Looking For" was the "only cover version he had heard that he enjoyed and did the original justice".
