My Luminaries

In 2001, Reading born vocalist and guitarist James Ewers met fraternal twins Saul (bass) and Dylan (guitar) Perryman while attending Reading College and School of Arts and Design (now part of Thames Valley University). Ewers spent the following year working in London’s 12 Bar Club, writing songs on the bus to work, bashing them out in empty midnight slots. In 2003, James, Saul and Dylan came together once again and met Manchester born drummer Sam Stopford at Kingston University in London and formed My Luminaries (after numerous gigs as The Fondas with ex drummer Andrew Harland).

Nemesea is a band founded by vocalist Manda Ophuis and guitarist Hendrik Jan de Jong in September 2002 in Groningen, The Netherlands. The band currently consists of Manda Ophuis (vocals), Hendrik Jan de Jong (guitars), Sonny Onderwater (bass), Lasse Delbrugge (keyboards) and Steven Bouma (drums). In April 2003 the band had their first performance as support act for After Forever, and remained that band's support for a year.

From his first remix release to his breakout hit 'Alone', he continues to produce an onslaught of the most emotive music going. He has done remixes for labels such as ASOT, ID&T, Vandit, Bostich, Adjusted, and Euphonic, lending them his trademark melodic and banging trance sound. "Petra" means "rock" in NT Greek, making the band name a triple pun. Rising from the jesus music movement, and initially signed to Myrrh Records, they fought to gain acceptance and recognition in a church culture that at the time believed rock music to be off-limits.
