Lisa Cuthbert

Lisa Cuthbert has been interested in music all her life. Born in dublin, she started playing the piano at the age of 4. While growing up in the suburbs of South Dublin she exposed herself to a wide array of musical styles, being involved in various projects and building a reputation for playing Metallica songs on her piano. For her solo recording career she decided to focus on more melancholic ambient material, influenced by the likes of Tori Amos, Bjork, Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush and Loreena McKennitt.

"Petra" means "rock" in NT Greek, making the band name a triple pun. The Mavericks

The Mavericks are an American country music band. The group formed in 1989 in Miami, Florida. The Mavericks won Vocal Group of the Year at the Country Music Awards in 1995 and 1996. They won a Grammy Award in 1996 for Best Country Performance by Duo/Group with Vocals. Their version of "Blue Moon" was featured in Tom Hanks' 1995 motion picture "Apollo 13". The Cross was a separate band project put together by Roger Taylor (the drummer for Queen) from 1987 to 1991. The four other members were Spike Edney (who went on to form 'Spike's All Stars' - the SAS Band), Clayton Moss, Peter Noone, and Joshua J. McCrae.

Mr. Vegas

He catapulted to the top of the Jamaican charts in 1997 with the dancehall boomshots "Heads High" and "Nike Air", his distinctive vocals fusing melodious singing with precision deejaying (rapping).
