Aoife O'Donovan

Aoife (pronounced EEF-ah) grew up in a musical family, immersed in folk music. She went on to study contemporary improvisation at the New England Conservatory of Music in her hometown of Boston. Since her first professional engagement singing lead for the folk group The Wayfaring Strangers, she has maintained a wide variety of side projects and collaborations. Most recently, she has performed and recorded with Ollabelle, Sometymes Why, Karan Casey and Seamus Egan, Jerry Douglas, Jim Lauderdale, Darol Anger...

The Internet

There are at least three artists known as The Internet: 1. The Internet is a hip-hop/soul duo and one of many sub-groups within the Los Angeles, California hip-hop collective OFWGKTA. It consists of Odd Future's sound engineer, audio mixer, and live DJ Syd Tha Kyd on vocals and Matt Martian of The Jet Age Of Tomorrow on production. The duo released their debut LP, Purple Naked Ladies, digitally on December 20, 2011.

Anek

Anek is an alternative rock band formed in 2001 in Lecce, Italy. Become more popular in 2009 with the release of their “5439" EP and their first single, "Bella", that aired on several local radio stations. Founding members Pete Sandon, his brother Jan Sandon and their friend Dario "Rock-D" Scordari welcomed guitarist Dave Tufano in 2006. At the end of 2009 Jan and Dario left the band and new drummer Loris De Carlo, son of the famous Italian drummer Enzo De Carlo, joined the band. The new line up finished to write and arrange new songs and travelled to London to record Anek first full length.

There are at least 2 acts under the name Tales: 1/ Tales are a Prog/Pop/Math/Rock inspired Drum ‘n’ Strum Duo from Birmingham, UK.
Luke MacGregor-Dignan and James Harrison (Guitar/Vocals and Drums respectively) have done away with traditional pop structures, focusing on compositions with a narrative theme, creating dynamic musical journeys that are defined by tensions and releases rather than verses and choruses.

1. An all girl feminist-punk band from Southern California. 2. An alternative Metal band from Massachusetts: www.myspace.com/dogfight. 3. A Hardcore Punk band from Richmond, Virginia. Dogfight is heavily influenced by bands like Down to Nothing, Righteous Jams, Guns Up!, as well as other Richmond hardcore bands. However, as of early 2007, they have changed their name to "Clocked Out". There was also a punk band from Minneapolis called Dogfight. In the second half of the Nineties there was Dogfight, a hardcore band from Den Bosch, The Netherlands.

The Dresden Dolls

The Dresden Dolls are an American musical duo from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Formed in 2001, the group consists of Amanda Palmer (vocals, piano, ukulele, toy piano, harmonica) and Brian Viglione (drums, percussion, guitar, vocals). They describe their heavily art-damaged and theatrical style as "Brechtian ", a phrase invented by Palmer because she was "terrified" that the press would invent a name that "would involve the word ''," and are part of an underground movement that started gaining momentum in the early 1990s.

Mr. Lif (born Jeffrey Haynes) is a Boston rapper who is currently signed to New York independent label Definitive Jux. Besides his solo career, Lif is also a member of the hip hop group The Perceptionists with long-time friends and collaborators Akrobatik and DJ Fakts One. Mr. Lif grew up in the neighbourhood of Brighton in Boston, MA. For two years he attended Colgate University, dropping out after becoming enamored with the hip hop music being produced at the time.

Harry and the Potters

Harry and the Potters are an indie rock band formed in Norwood, Massachusetts, in 2002 by brothers Joe DeGeorge and Paul DeGeorge. The band was inspired by the J.K. Rowling book series Harry Potter and were the first of many similar artists making music about the fictional boy wizard. They have released three full-length studio albums, Harry and the Potters in 2003, Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock! in 2004 and Harry and the Potters and the Power of Love in 2006.
