Dustin
Dustin the Turkey is a popular character on the RTE children's programme, The Den, since the 1980s. He has lasted for so long as he appeals to both children and adults. He makes appearances outside of The Den, including an annual appearance on The Late Late Show Toy Show special at Christmas where he makes fun of the show's regular host Pat Kenny, as he did with the previous host, Gay Byrne. Hobo Jones & the Junkyard Dogs
Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs are one of the most unique musical acts on the circuit today. Covering a wide range of music from genuine 1950's skiffle such as Lonnie Donegan, through Led Zeppelin & The Doors, via Johnny Cash to modern classics such as Green Day, Motorhead and even The Pussycat Dolls. Formed in 2003, the band was a backlash against the standard pub rock bands that seemed to be playing all the same covers in all the same venues, all in the same style.
