The daughter of strict Baptist ministers in Dallas, Texas - only two kinds of music were allowed in N’dambi’s house – gospel and country. Church was the center of the family‟s life in every way and there was no middle ground. Secular music was forbidden, but its irresistible allure eventually trickled into her life and began impacting the maturing young singer. Glenn Lewis (born Glen Ricketts on March 13, 1975 in Toronto, Canada) is a soul singer and songwriter. Originally planning to pursue a career in animation as a teenager, Lewis instead decided to focus on music. His father was a member of the musical group Crack of Dawn. Lewis has cited Stevie Wonder as his biggest inspiration, and Glenn has often been compared to him because of their similarities in their tones. Glenn singing first garnered attention when he won a high-school talent contest by covering Wonder's "I Just Called to Say I Love You".

Ben L'oncle Soul
Benjamin Duterde (born 1984), a.k.a. Ben L'Oncle Soul ('Ben the Soul Uncle'), is a French nu-soul singer from the town of Tours. Duterde first gained prominence in his home country with the Soul Wash EP (2009), which featured six covers of songs by Gnarls Barkley, Spice Girls, Katy Perry and, most notably, The White Stripes (Seven Nation Army). Ben's first full-length album, entitled simply Ben l'Oncle Soul was released in the summer of 2010 and was put out internationally on the Motown label.
