The Singing Kettle

The Singing Kettle is a folk music group who are well known for performing traditional children's songs with a distinctly Scottish flair. The group began in the mid 1980's with the husband and wife team of Cilla Fisher and Artie Trezise, building on their success as folk musicians as "Cilla and Artie". Their first venture under "The Singing Kettle" was a children's album, featuring everything from traditional Scottish rhymes to songs learned on their folk tour of the states. For certain tracks, real children were used, including their daughter Jane, creating the first set of "Kettle Kids".

CONTEMPT comes from Kosice, Slovakia and that is definitely one of the most promising bands from the Eastern part of Europe. The band started in 1990 under the name DESECRATOR with the line-up of Robo(drums), Bajuz(bass) and Lubo(guitars, vocals). Soon afterwards Ivo(guitars) joined the band. With this line-up they recorded the "Corner" demo, which was never released because of the bad sound quality. In 1991 Lubo had to do the civil service while the rest of the band have been working on the material for next cassette.

Super Fun Happy Slide is a grindcore band from Australia. Formed in 2005, Super Fun Happy Slide quickly rose to the top of the legendary Heywood grindcore scene with their combination of hardline straight-edge politics and their progressive melodic song writing. After the departure of founding member M. Sanchez, the band relocated to Melbourne City and changed their sound to a more Napalm Death influenced blend of Napalm Death and Napalm Death.

There are many bands under the name of Valhalla, 10 of them are metal. 1) The best known Valhalla hails from Petrozavodsk, Rusland and has released one album under the name of "Hail To The Fallen Majesty" in 2003. 2) There is another Valhalla originating from Bedfordshire in England from 1979 playing progressive metal. They had two national single releases on the NEAT records label, "Coming Home" and the double A sides of "Jack" and "Still in Love with You" together with tracks on the compilation album sponsored by the popular music paper SOUNDS.

They formed in 1995 and have released 2 demos and a recent full-length debut album "Christ Is a Lie" courtesy by Empire Records / Sinister Sounds in 2008. 2) Demogorgon is a black metal band from Brazil. They formed in 2000 and have released one demo in 2002. 3) Demogorgon is a black metal band from Czech Republic. They formed in 1993 and quickly disappeared, recent reports have suggested the band died in a car crash in 1998.

Apparently, they recorded two new tracks (presumably live) from 2007-2008, and played a concert in Moscow during this time. Monstrously huge, expansive Doom/Death Metal, with a heavy emphasis on the Doom.
