Gestalt was formed in 1982 in Lyon. The group draws from the musical Pantheon where Jim Morrisson and Léo Ferré, Hawkwind and Béla Bartok cross, and the most inventive formations of the moment, like Tuxedomoon or Mechanic. In this asserted eclecticism, it is especially its own way which Gestalt seeks. That of a dark energy rock'n'roll interfered research in the compositions.

Richard Devine is an American electronic musician and sound designer whose music, characterized by complex rhythms and heavy use of DSP, gained popularity among IDM fans after remixing Aphex Twin's "Come To Daddy". He has released albums on Warp, Schematic, and Sublight and has done sound design work for Native Instruments and many other companies.
The McMash Clan are Dudgy, Hallmark and Majorkooms - a unique, exciting and very technical 3 man DJ team based in the UK. Having combined forces in 2005, the trio have intensely focused on DJing as an artform. Aaron Spectre grew up in the Massachusetts suburban sprawl, playing drums and going to all ages shows. He was fortunate to have been heavily influenced by bands like Converge, Bane, and Cave In during his formative years. As his interests shifted to electronic music, he moved to NYC, bought turntables, and started producing ambient, jungle and drum'n'bass. In 2003 he moved to Berlin, Germany, released several vinyl 12”s, and began playing in squats around central Europe. He founded Drumcorps to tie together his varied influences.
