The Gross Consumer

The Gross Consumer (aka James McCarthy) was raised in Towcester (as in electric) in Northamptonshire. Experimenting with any equipment they could find, Grossy, and friends Roger Species and Kevin Nova made various bad quality tapes and performed live, unwanted, at many 18th birthday parties.
When Roger Species moved to Brighton and helped set up the Wrong Music Night, the Gross Consumer got dragged into the mix. Eventually moving to Brighton and helping with the chaos, the Consumer has been involved since the start of the Wrong Music Label.

Being a musician for several years , Felix aka "Fexomat" got into dj'ing in '97.
With a musical background of Metal, Rock, Industrial and EBM he started with early Jump Up / DnB but soon changed to the darker and harder sounds in Jungle and Breakbeat.
He played several gigs as "DJ Fex" from 98-2001 and set up different parties in north germany until he took a short break to study and move to Berlin.

Captain Ahab is an electropop duo based in Los Angeles, California. They refer to their sound, a DIY take on dance music, as ravesploitation. The band is made up of Jonathan Snipes and Jim Merson. A typical Captain Ahab live performance consists of playback of recorded beats from a computer and vigorous singing by both members of the band.
