Clara Luzia

Clara Luzia is the band of Clara Humpel, an independent artist from Vienna, Austria. She used to be the singer of the band Alalie Lilt (http://www.alalielilt.net) until she formed a new band and they released their first album "Railroad Tracks" on April 21st, 2006.
Their following albums are called "The Long Memory" (2007) , "The String - And Then Some - EP" (2008), "The Ground below" (2009) and "Falling into place" (2011) and there are upcoming tour dates for Austria and Germany (see "Events").

Good Lovelies

Recent winners of the 2010 Juno for Roots Album of the Year and of the 2009 New Emerging Artist Award from the Canadian Folk Music Awards- the Good Lovelies are making waves across Canada. The Good Lovelies are a Canadian folk-roots/western-swing trio, consisting of Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough and Sue Passmore.The group's three members were all solo artists in the Toronto area when they came together in 2006 to perform at a Christmas concert at Toronto's Gladstone Hotel. They subsequently decided to continue working together, releasing their debut EP, Oh My, in 2007.

Spazzys

Spazzys are an all-girl punk band formed in 2000 in Melbourne, Australia. They received strong support from Melbourne community radio station 3RRR, before being picked up by popular youth radio station Triple J. They released their debut album Aloha! Go Bananas! in 2004, with singles Paco Doesn't Love Me, Hey Hey Baby and My Boyfriend's Back all charting. They are a constant in the live music scene in Melbourne and have toured nationally several times, often playing festivals such as the Big Day Out.

Thea Musgrave

Thea Musgrave is a Scottish-born composer now living in the United States whose music is performed regularly on both sides of the Atlantic. Born in Edinburgh on 27 May 1928, she studied at the University of Edinburgh then in Paris, where she spent four years as a pupil of Nadia Boulanger, before establishing herself in London with her orchestral, choral, operatic and chamber works. In 1970 she was named guest professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, which anchored her increasing involve-ment with the musical life of the United States.

We worked really well together, collaborated better than ever, and had a great time.

Best known for his participation in Queens Of The Stone Age, Van Leeuwen is joined by Serrina Sims, Norm Block on drums (Mark Lanegan Band, Plexi) and Eddie Nappi on bass (Mark Lanegan Band, Handsome) in his second ensemble.
